There is nothing more frustrating than the long balls pinged aimlessly from the back which Martins and the rest have no chance of using
-
That's it get Martins in behind them instead of pumping it up to his head.
-
If we would step it up a bit we could score easily.
-
Yep it really pisses me off.
-
Why would we want to do that when he clearly is a midfielder and a very good one at that..? Because the attacking ability that he has could allow him to become an extremely good left wing back.
-
Need to stop trying to hit the ball to Martin's head, he needs it either to his feet or behind the defence.
-
N'Zogbia is nowhere near a left-back at the moment but he could really grow into that role if he developed his reading of the game and distribution.
-
Solid start anyway.

Hehe what a strike

While i hate Man Utd myself, i can't help thinking your views are magnified because you happen to follow their Derby rivals. If Man city played in Rome most of your lot would want to go. Each travelling fan must accept they go at their own risk, but they can't be criticised for following their team. As for the Man U fans going looking for trouble, you may be right, but you can't know that. No ground in Europe should be a no-go area. Trouble finds those looking for it, simple as. There were a few thousand other Mancs that managed not to get shanked. I'm with Specky on this one. Eh? Do you also mean that a granny who gets mugged on the street 'must' have deserved it as a few other thousand granny's didn't get robbed? Nothing like taking something completely out of context and adding it's irrelevance to an argument. I'm assuming those stabbed weren't using a f****** cane to get to the match. Anyways, it's a shame it happened, but I've read owt that says this was a random attack completely unprovoked. Words were exchanged and those Hooligans looking for trouble, found it. and you've not read owt that says it was a provoked (and in your eyes justifiable) attack either, unless you're taking Dr S's posts as gospel The fact remains they were at the bridge, apparently a well renowned spot for Ultras clashes so it looks very much like they were up for a scrap and lost. Either way stabbings over football are never justifiable and i dont think the bonk made out they are in any way...

Hope Sinawatra loses the plot and gets his chequebook out, there is no way anyone else will bid for him in January anyway. -

Saw this in the daily record today: http://www.dailyrecord.co.uk/news/scottish-news/2007/12/11/old-firm-tickets-sell-for-100-000-86908-20232609/ " A BILLIONAIRE entrepreneur has forked out £100,000 for a pair of Old Firm tickets. The sum, paid by Newcastle United owner Mike Ashley at a charity auction, is thought to be the most ever spent on a pair of football tickets. Ashley was among 650 guests at Radio Clyde's £80-a-head Cash For Kids charity lunch and auction in Glasgow's Hilton Hotel on Friday. The briefs, for directors' box seats at the Rangers v Celtic game at Ibrox on March 29 next year, initially saw bidding hit £2500. But guests were stunned when Ashley, a guest at Scots entrepreneur Sir Tom Hunter's table, shouted out his massive winning bid of £100,000. A Radio Clyde spokeswoman said: "If it's not the biggest amount, it's close to the biggest amount ever paid for two football tickets. "It's incredible. The bids for the tickets rose gradually from £2000 to £2500 then Mike suddenly shouted out '£100,000'. "He got a standing ovation." Cash For Kids has raised more than £13million since it was launched 26 years ago. Englishman Ashley, 42, made £929million in March when he floated a 43 per cent stake in his Sports Direct company on the stock market. " Great thing to do, top bloke.

I agree about Baggio.
-
And i think Messi is well on his way tbh.
-
Zidane Batistuta Hard to name the third tbh because there is so many that could make it, Ronaldo, Maldini, Ronaldinho, Cantona, Larsson, not really right to say Maradonna for me cause he was slightly before my time really.

7 goals so far for someone who isn't an out and out striker is pretty good, could be better obviously but not bad at all. There is a lot of pressure on him also at the moment since Viduka and Smith are hardly topping the scoring charts.
-
FS not getting the feed for the game anymore, sounds like we are playing shite 2nd half tho
-
Seems to be taking Barton a while to get to proper match fitness, Viduka doesnt look too sharp either, at least he got into the game though and can come out in the 2nd half ready.
-
Loving N'Zogbia's runs forward.
-
Can't believe we havent scored another one, only a matter of time if we keep it up tho.
