  1. Would be great but he is one of the highest valued strikers in the premiership, they would probably not even accept 25m for him.
  2. Don't have any betting money until my dole money comes in > Was quite a few decent games to bet on this week aswell.

    C'mon Scotland

Bad performance by all apart from Gordon against a mediocre but better by far on the night team. Fletcher wasn't fit and I dont think Murty and Alexander cut it as international full-backs. Should have Hutton/Brown/McCulloch back for Italy so should be better and i think we will win.
  4. Its cause they are just making random shite up.
  5. I'd be a bit gutted if he goes, don't think we have seen enough of him in his more natural position somewhere behind the main striker. Used to score great goals for Inter making those late runs into the box and proved last season he can finish. Martins over Owen any day.
  6. Yeah i'd agree apart from i think if Owen leaves then we need someone better than Smith. Anelka would be good.
  7. Would love it if we went for Drenthe but cant see it happening.
  8. true Yep he is EXCELLENT. I would get him in at all costs.
  9. I'd imagine a lot of clubs will be watching Drenthe very closely after this game.
  10. Manuel Fernandes is good also.
  11. The guy who looks like Davids on the left midfield looks excellent. Left back isnt bad either. Some quality play.
  12. Aye, best way to do it so he can get a replacement in asap or start planning for the outcome. If Owen's saying that then we should try and get rid of him.
  13. I think he has what the midfield has been lacking for a while, genuine drive and aggression. Parker tried but he never really settled into the role we need. Good deal imo.
  14. Agreed, dunno why Sam would want Davies when we have Taylor, is there any point at all? All we need is experience beside Taylor which we can get dirt cheap seemingly. Which is nice.
  15. It could work out well. The players sam seems to be going after at the moment are cheap but established players leaving some cash available for good full backs, hopefully Baines and someone else.
  16. Aye would be the best choice available for reasonable money. Solid left back who should only improve with experience. Proven in the premiership and a lower risk than someone like Bale.
  17. Big Sam 1 - 0 Overpayed Carrots
  18. I really hope Martins doesnt go. He's the one player in our team capable of doing special things on the pitch. You need someone like that in the team and if he goes who else could we get capable of that?
  19. Whatever you say!!! Well, I do live in Glasgow, as does Colinmk, who agrees with me here. Good for you! So you have never seen bigotry in Glasgow then? Have you been to Maryhill? My mates and I were beaten up in Glasgow town Centre just for wearing Rangers tops and we were called "proddy bastards" as they were doing it. Is that sectarian? In the eyes of the police it was! It is, mate. I agree, and yes I have seen bigotry I wasn't claiming it never existed, but I also know, like any other old firm fan or Glaswegian, that if you walk about the city centre with either colours on, you're a walking target. Most have the sense to cover up, or travel about in a pack. I mean, I guess that's not actually good enough, and you should be able to walk around freely, but it's the same the country over. No-go zones for certain fans in certain parts of the city. Glasgow City Centre can be rough at the best of times, if you don't mind me asking, what part of the town was it? I live about a 3 minute drive from Maryhill. It's not a sectarian place, it's got problems with gangs, but a sectarian problem? As if, they're all in the same f****** gangs. My point was Glasgow doesn't have a "sectarian problem" or in your words, "HUGE problem". It simply doesn't. Lets just agree to differ then, I still love Glasgow, and I go up there all the time, to visit family and go to the game. Your experience and mine obviously differ, but then, have you ever been beaten up because you are wearing the teams colours, and called because of your "presumed" religion? If not, then you haven't experienced the violence first hand. I am sure I am not an isolated incident. I am not slagging off Glasgow at all, I love the place, warts and all, but I have experienced the sectarianism that does exist. Well like Bluf says, everyone knows not to go walking round dodgy parts of Glasgow with a celtic or rangers shirt on because if you bump into one of them gangs then its bad news. No different to Liverpool, Manchester, London or anywhere with more than one team. Neds/chavs whatever you want to call them will start on you for whatever reason, football/religion being an excuse. Incidently my mates have walked around the centre for about 4 years wearing celtic shirts and have never had any shit.
  20. Heinzes still one of the best left backs in the league. I'd imagine he would go to someone like Valencia/Juve/Milan though.
