And none of them will keep the payments up when they realise how little say you get for your £35, leaving the club in the s***. Heard the bloke running it on TalkSport a few hours back. He reckons members will get to vote on everything: team selection, tactics, training facilities, youth programmes, stadium developments, you name it. Aye, but if there's 20,000 people voting what are the chances of your vote counting? 1 in 20,000? I wonder if some fecker will ever start bulk buying accounts to get a block vote. /By christ their forums are going to get lively when the kneejerking kicks in. //Are the blokes running this/doing the deals pulling a salary from the membership fee? Cannot see anything about it on the site. It says £7.50 goes towards administration of the trust out of every £35 so i imagine the guy who runs it is going to be making a small fortune before too long.

Strongly disagree, Shay has been performing miracles for the team for years now and look at the defences he's had in front of him. Once we have a settled defence which will hopefully be sooner rather than later and they have played together for a while then there should be no problems in the box with Shay in goals.

http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/teams/g/gravesend_and_northfleet/7089473.stm They have just bought Ebbsfleet Utd, 7th in the bluesquare conference. The more i see it the more i am liking the idea but they have 50,000 members already so your vote for tactics etc is not going to matter that much if you have 40,000 idiots signed up to it. Whoever came up with the idea though is going to be one rich bastard.

If its the 4-3-3 then Given Faye Viduka

Cant see the sense in playing for a point against your biggest rivals and the likes of Derby just because you are away from home. Look at the players we have compared to these teams, surely no-one thinks that we are not capable of beating these teams away? I'm not saying we should go out and attack these teams from the first minute until the last but we certainly have players capable of winning games like this on the break but our negative tactics so far this season havent allowed us to do this. It will surely improve with time but its frustrating to see right now.

Get Oba on, his pace can win it.
-
Milner coming inside off the left wing, thats exactly what he needs to do if were gonna play him there.
-
Poor defending, poor by Harper imo also, why was he following the ball like that?
-
First halfs been bollocks.
-
How are we going to get a settled team if week in week out players are in different positions?
-
It really was terrible, worst ive seen for ages, was so surprised he didnt go off with his bottom leg hanging by a thread.
-
Don't have it on unfortunately

Think our defence suffers when Given isn't playing, his organisational skills are very much required at times. Surely time to see Martins or Emre ffs.
-
He's certainly shown he cannot do Vidukas role upfront anyway.
-
That was fucking shite! Go out and redeem yerselves, Oba on and run at the defenders especially Johnson who can be taken.
-
Cacapa didn't get out of bed today, get another back before half-time and we can win this.
-
Dear god, incredible.
-
Who cares who they get, they will still be the same shite club

I'm not sure I agree with that. Hampden isn't even the most intimmidating venue in Scotland. The crowd is miles from the pitch. It certainly lent us no influence over the referee in our last two home games. We were denied two stone-wall penalties against Ukraine and had a penalty awarded against us for a blatant dive in the Lithuania game. We won those two games in spite of the referee rather than because of him. Yeah Hampden aint all its cracked up to be because of that very point, the crowd are amazing for the Scotland games but when they are that far away I don't think it has the same impact. If we had 60,000 Scotland fans at Parkhead however, that would really put the shits up the opposition. I hope England and Scotland both qualify tbh, will be amazing if we get each other in the group stages. And on the point about the team being pretty poor footballers, that would be correct but for a nation the size of Scotland you don't get 10 top class footballers in the same lifetime very often so you have to use what you have. Thats why we have done so well.

Apparently Jol is claiming he rested Berbatov Rest him against us at home when they are in the bottom 3 only to have him fit for the vital match against the mighty Getafe. Surely he will be out within a week.

Nice, correct score bet? i had 3 different bets, had a Newcastle + hull double that won me 50 quid, Martins to score first won me 50 quid and 3-1 won me 70 quid Hats off to you then blueyes.gif

Faye and the defence in general is showing improvements, Shay is doing a good job at not letting them slack off, dunno why he does so many punts though when our attacking line is so small but just a small gripe really.
