    Sebastian Larsson

Don't know much about him but just happy to get bodies in coz our squad depth (shallow) is terrible! Have a feeling that HBA + Seb might conclude our Jan transfer, would like at least 1-2 more players but I guess we have to be realistic, we don't have much money. This is still better than the expectation of those that were adamant that Pardew was brought in so that we don't have to buy in January.

    Pitch invasion...

He doesn't run away towards the away end though. On the extended video I posted before, he simply proceeds to run around in circles waving the scarf about and continues to mingle with celebrating fans. Exactly. In the first footage, I thought those fans were running after him. But in the second footage it was clear that they were all just celebrating and could not give a toss that one of their players just go decked, maybe it's all just part of the way they celebrate

    Alan Pardew

But is that not just the opposite as your constant stance? We win - "Credit to pards" We lose - "It's not Pards' fault" To your credit..you're consistent. But as far as I can see...when we beat WHU everyone (apart from die-hard haters) gave credit to our manager. He played it well and was given the credit he deserved for his contribution to the victory. He's taking his share of the blame today...it's fair and you don't get fairer The only people who aren't open-minded or fair in their appraisals of Pardew are the likes of yourself who just see it as win win for everything he does. That's the way it's coming across as you continue to blow smoke up his arse after a terrible loss. You've taken the position of defender or 'Pards' and even when he makes mistakes you refuse to accept. When he helps NUFC beat the scum next week (please!!!) he will rightly be credited. But he's a manager of a football club and he needs to take both the credit where credit's due and the criticism where it's due. Today was woeful...all round. Trust me, I'm not a Pardew defender per se. I've not said anything in his credit tonight other than saying the players need to really look at their efforts. I just want to see the guy given a fair crack of the whip. I do too...and I think most do (the way he was appointed is what sticks in most people's throats - not his fault, I guess). But you don't have to like someone to get behind them as the club's manager. If he's to be our next long term manager...then so be it. As long as we're progressing. But he'll be given flack when he's had a bad one, as much a credited after a good performance. Doesn't mean bias is present...tbf.

    Chris Hughton

Right now the only think that is more embarrassing than losing to Stevenage is posters who pine after Hughton after every defeat, typically coming out with bullshit like "oh he would have done this, he would not have done that". He's gone get over it, support the team and if you can't because you love HUghton too much, then please go fucking support whichever team he ends up managing (hint it won't be in the Premiership)!
  5. # It did at Bolton and West Brom. Bolton = West Brom = Stevenage? f*** me you're EVEN thicker than I thought you were. # It did at Bolton and West Brom. Bolton = West Brom = Stevenage? f*** me you're EVEN thicker than I thought you were. Yay let's celebrate that the lost. At least you get the satisfaction of being proven right that Pardew is worse than Hughton. Pop the champagne mate!
  6. Absolutely nothing wrong with that tackle. Having said that, I hope those who wanted us to play our first team so that the fans won't feel cheated, are fucking happy now. We should let our first teamers get some rest after a hectic period and just let our youngsters play. Now all we need is for Colo to break his leg!
  7. Yup there is no way I'd risk our premiership survival for an FA Cup run (which we will lose eventually anyway). Once we have establish ourselves as a top half team with a decent squad, then we can take cup competition seriously. Till then, only survival matters. Now I hope Tiote does not get a card or worse end up injured!
  8. Not at all, I'll be happy if none of our key players end up injured. Don't want a meaningless replay either, will just clog up the schedule

    Hatem Ben Arfa

I think it is in Tunisia for a family bereavement Family bereavement...what happened?
  10. I'd like to see them go in the following order 1) Mancini - still have not forgiven him for defending De Jong, no integrity at all and totally incompetent, probably have the best squad in the league and still can't make things work 2) Ancelotti - a drop in form is 3-5 games, when it's 11 games he has to go, pissed off that Wolves won 3) Grant - don't really care except that sacking their manager will hopefully put the club in turmoil and firmly place them in the bottom 3 4) Houllier - still think he can do a decent job 5) Hodgson - want him to remain with Liverpool coz he will screw them up which pleases me no end

    Alan Pardew

So even if we finish top half this season, you won't admit that you were wrong with Pardew?
  12. What is your reaction after Best's hat-trick yesterday? Assuming we only have 5-7M left for January, do we still need another striker? Potentially we have Carroll, Ameobi, Best, Loven, Ranger and HBA (who can also play somewhere in the forward line back in March). I guess it depends on whether you think Best's hat-trick is a flash in the pan or can we rely on him as our third striker till end of the season at least? My vote goes for option 2, think we need a RW/midfielder more, Carroll is great, Ameobi will get his fair share of goals and Best deserve a chance after yesterday. By March we can play HBA off Carroll. Buying another striker now will surely limit Ranger's chances to almost zero. Not sure we can get a striker on loan who is any better than our current lot. What's your vote?
  13. Not sure how Best hattrick is gonna affect our thinking of buying more firepower. Mike might just say no more, you've got Carroll, Ameobi, Best and Loven and now HBA who can play off the striker. Not sure myself if we should spend money on a striker or right wing or centre midfield.
  14. To be honest it is still fluid right now. Before the West Ham & Wigan games, I was hoping for some distance if we won both, but even after doing that, the difference between us the and last place is fucking 8 points. Results have really gone against us in the last two games, the bottom sides have all been winning and instead of drifting away, they've been keeping pace with the the middle pack. How do you fucking explain Wolves beating Chelsea?! Hope Ancelottin gets the sack for this!!! So ya I think we will need more than 40 to survive, maybe even 43-45 ish
  15. Where are you guys getting the lineup from?
  16. People should go after Pardew (and rightly so) if Carroll is sold after all the assurance that he gave us
  17. wait has it been confirmed that Shola is out or is it just speculation coz of the rumors that Best is starting?
  18. Actually thought Xisco had a good game against Villa even as a sub...better than any that Best have had

hope he does not close his facebook account too, that would be quite sad!

    Hatem Ben Arfa

Actually first scenario is not too bad provided we have a bit more money for a striker. If we had 10M to spend in January, think a lot of posters would want us to get HBA now and 5M for another striker rather than risk losing him after the loan ends. Maybe I'm not being fair to Dave, it's just that I noticed a lot of his recent posts have been quite negative, just not used to that coz I usually find his posts interesting and think that he is generally an intelligent chap

    Age

Still not too bad. Rightly or wrongly, don't think Williamson will start before Taylor though
