    Marc Guehi

Back four of Tino, Guehi, Botman and Hall would be pretty fucking nice. Sorted for the next 5 or 6 seasons
  2. So, this fella is in the top 20 transfer fees ever received for a goalkeeper? If any of these back and forth deals looks dodgy its this one.
  3. If Gordon wants to leave and we get top dollar for him then fair enough. If he is happy to stay then we keep him - he is only going to get better. Him and Isak should be the players we should centre the team around going forward as they have age on their side and have a high ceiling. As others have said players who have already reached their peak are the ones we should be cashing in on
  4. No idea, but looks to have 1m followers on Insta

Schar was one of the best centre backs in the league last season. Botman has been good but hasn't reached those levels IMO.

Like the fact that he can play rightback too - gives us some flexibility in changing which side of the defence we play our attacking fullback on depending on the opposition.
  7. I assume the majority of those games will be from the bench. We are talking about a 3rd (potentially 4th behind Gordon) choice striker. If people honestly think we are going to get a 1 in 2 young striker to sit behind Isak and Wilson they are dreaming.
  8. If we get £20m for him, then surely £40m for Madueke starts to look very reasonable?
  9. are people genuinely concerned about our perceived lack of activity, or is it just that the absence of any solid rumours means that there isnt much to talk about so everyone starts sniping at each other?
  10. I guess it depends if the new right winger can also play as a striker, if so, then you would think we can afford to keep an additional winger in the squad
  11. Is Arda Guler remotely realistic? Real seem so overstocked in his position and he would be ideal for our right wing.
  12. We did pretty much the same thing spending big on two back up full backs when we were crying out for a new right winger. Sometimes an opportunity to sign a player has to be taken, even if the timing isn't quite right
  13. I have a weird feeling we will bring in Adeyemi - previously massively hyped but his star has fallen a bit, good age, big enough for Howe ball and can play across the front three.
  14. Didn't have a great Euro's from what I saw, but would surely still be mega bucks
  15. Guessing your gonna suggest Cherki as an alternative?
  16. You must admit that £60m for a player who has gone from being world class to someone who is a liability and whos legs have gone in 2 seasons is not sensible business though.
  17. Wasn't expecting a nibble from you!
  18. The filthiest money imaginable.
  19. I'm so bored of this nonsense. We have bought players from abroad and at home since Howe has been manager - the 'Howe only wants premier league players' patter is just nonsense. He wants players who fit into the team/squad and that is easier to judge when buying from the premier league, but we have proved we will buy from abroad when the style and character of a player matches up.
  20. Didn't Everton want 60m for Gordon too? I guess they are in a stronger PSR position than they were then
  21. Bowen would be expensive and ideally I would prefer someone younger, but he is about as close to guaranteed 15+ goals a season from the wing as you can get. Our frontline with him, Isak and Gordon would be scary good.
  22. Didn't we buy Minteh to sell? All the biggest clubs are good at developing players to sell for PSR reasons
  23. Kane is the biggest issue in this team, looks like he's playing walking football
  24. Going for absolutely zero width then? Lovely! Made the entire build up analysis completely useless
