Colback does show for the ball and he's a better passer than Sissoko, Jonas or Gouffran. So yeah, we did miss him. The idea that he 'hides' is crap. Have a look at the Arsenal away game; Tiote who gets hammered on here made about 80 passes and Colback about 10. Seeing as Colback is meant to be more of your driving midfielder out of the two, I'd say it is fairly evident he hides based on that alone.

Which shows how little we have progressed as a club. Remember the days when we knew no matter what we would get a result due to the quality we had on and off the pitch? Totally disgusting what has happened to us and yet Ashley still gets away with it.
