WTF, Onyewo was at Milan? And now offered to play for free? http://soccernet.espn.go.com/news/story?id=788029&sec=europe&cc=5901 He must have one hell of an agent.

"There is no purpose to play the ball from the Blackburn players - they don't even watch the ball," he said. "He (Fabianski) had two players in front of him all the time and every time it was to stop him getting the ball. "In football when you don't go for the ball and you stop the keeper going for the ball it is a foul. I think the referee cannot allow that. I am very disappointed the referee lets that happen in a football game, it is unfair to a goalkeeper. "They (Blackburn) do it well but when you feel that as a referee you have to give more protection. It doesn't take away the fact we weren't good but that is completely unfair." Wenger said he had no concerns about Fabianski's form or confidence and deflected the attention towards Atkinson's performance. "I think Lucasz had a good game - it should affect the confidence of the referee," he added. An unrepentant Blackburn manager Sam Allardyce was, unsurprisingly, delighted to have irked his Arsenal counterpart. "If you expose the opposition's weaknesses enough then in the end those weaknesses will be exposed," he said. "The amount of balls we put into the box on the keeper, who has obviously been a weak link for them, paid off. "We beat Arsenal fair and square. The referee gave some that were fouls, he gave some that weren't fouls and he didn't give some that might have been fouls. "You can't give everything as a foul on the goalkeeper and he certainly gave his fair share. "You can argue all you want about those two particular incidents but we could argue Morten Gamst Pedersen should have had a penalty when he got brought down in the second half. "I'm not overly concerned about what Arsene says - he's said it before about my tactics. But we know these tactics work against Arsenal and they've worked again today." Allardyce added: "We play the game as managers, we look at each other and you see if you can find any weaknesses in the opposition manager as well as the team. "Criticising me is great because I'd sooner him criticise me when I've beaten them rather than him praising me when they've beaten us. It is very pleasing we have won the game and I think we won the game because we deserved to."

Who doesn't treat them like crap?

Commitments sometimes need to be made to South American agents, Idiot. It helps when your coach plays along and doesn't throw a strop. PS: I love KK.

Am I still a trophy virgin in reagrds to Newcastle? I feel like the club's first trophy (in my lifetime I mean) being the second division title is a bit like having your first time with a prostitute. I'm in the same boat but your analogy's a bit off. It's more like picking up the fat bird at a party everyone's trying to avoid but you're desperate for some first-time skin-on-skin (skin-on-metal) contact so you take the easy way out and get her drunk enough to score at the end of the night. And it doesn't matter if you were crap in bed as she's easy and it's your first time. And it still feels so damn good.

Sad he didn't live to see us come up in style. Almost teary-eyed here. Pathetic that his last memory would be to see us get relegated and bummed by Ashley and Co.
-
An odd rumour nonetheless. Surely can't be regular practice? The whole notion sounds illegal to be honest. If that was the case we could've asked for Premiership money when we got relegated.
-
How can this be possible? They haven't even been relegated yet! Is it sound financial governance from the league if they lend money to clubs which belongs to teams that actually get relegated? http://soccernet.espn.go.com/news/story?id=775755&sec=england&cc=5901

Feels so surreal, these scenes, this feeling. So this is how it feels to win something? I could get used to it if only I could ... get used to it! CAMPIONESSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS!!! CHAMPIONS BITCHES.

Lovenkrands missed badly against the Toffees, too. *Sigh* It's not about the misses, it's about the overall direction and management of the club which sent us down. Merlin summed it up, as have all of us over and over again a billion times. Having said that, those misses still fucking hurt. YOU GET PAID MILLIONS YOU FUCKS.

So's Oba.

A CL absolves everything, really. If one of our managers won us the CL I could care less if we finished the following season 7th. Sure it may be time for a change, and should've happened a while back, but that shouldn't stop them from loving the man.
-
Justice. Should've been off for his hack on Milner.
-
Are Hull pretty much down? edit: if they lose today, I mean.
-
Anyone but Spurs. I was resisting commenting on this issue as each and everytime I've vocalised my despise of that club something good happens to them. So I retract that statement in full.
-
New English teams in the CL is good because it breaks the monotony. Only City would be able to maintain that, Spurs would probably bomb in qualifying just like Everton did. Also, Spurs are a horrid bunch led by Redknapp. Seeing old twitchy's face if they got 4th would probably put me off football. Thats a good point. With the newer format, 4th place might face the likes of Juventus, Sevilla or Lyon. Before you know it, they've done an Everton a Partizan Belgrade and failed to qualify!

Didn't stop Obama from putting 'black' instead of 'mixed race' on his census form. Believe it or not, as per my understanding, there's a law in countries like the US and SA that states that even if you have a 'bit' of black in you, you're counted 'black' legally. There was some furore in both those countries to have that law overturned but unless I'm mistaken it still stands.

The picture to the right had me thinking he'd taken up Rugby
-
Now all he needs to do is convince Messi to join and that's a career in management guaranteed.
