  1. I lived in South London. Palace fans, when nowhere near the Premiership at the time, were still massive wankers. "We'd beat Real Madrid if we were in the Champions League!" kinda Trumpism. No dice. Hope they go down eventually.
  2. Imagine him playing those Hollywood balls to Kane & Vardy, Ashley will be licking his chops thinking of resale value.
  3. Unfortunately Shelvey's developed a Joey Barton-type reputation in the minds of neutrals. Whether this is justified or not is entirely down to him. Edit: FWIW, I think he's been our most improved player under Rafa, and I'm really happy him playing his best football in an NUFC shirt, something he himself said yesterday.
  4. Fuck!!! I haven’t felt this happy in years. Dedicated to this lovely man as I dance to 90s hip hop in my living room.
  5. He's a beautiful man with beautiful skills, if you don't like him then stay out the fucking thread and allow us to masturbate in peace. Post of the year, tbh. Wholly agree
  6. Seems to do everything right except score. It's been the story with every cut-price striker we've signed under Ashley With him though, it simply has to be confidence. If he can fix that mental thing, I really think he can get upto 6-10 goals a season as a backup striker in this team. He's already got 5.
  7. One thing that's got me confused is the freezing out of this kid. He looked like he was finally becoming a Premier League player, after publicly stating he's enjoying getting starts and game time, and just when he scores and puts in great performances, he's dropped, we sign Kenedy, and now he's nowhere to be seen. Either something's going on in training, or maybe Rafa thinks he's just not ready. I actually prefer him to Atsu (opposite wings, I know, but still).
  8. One where he took credit for Tevez and Mascherano
  9. While I get some of the criticism, the over-the-top stuff is absurd. Here is how I saw his performance yesterday: 1) Balls were played into him at speed by Lejeune, Shelvey, etc., and he was always surrounded by 2-3 players every single time, so clearly Wagner recognized him as a threat enough to always have him double-teamed. As he's no Ben Arfa, he did the best he could, by trying to keep possession in small pockets of space, and constantly grafting. 2) He finally found the space he was looking for in the lead up to the goal, and not only did he bring the ball forward, he played a glorious, Hollywood pass with the outside of his boot to Atsu, starting and finishing the move that led to our goal. 3) He had no help from either Kennedy or Gayle, for some reason, but he did create tons of space for Shelvey by drawing 2-3 defenders away, or keeping them harried and busy up front. All in all, not a pretty performance, but it was topped off by a very pretty, skilful passage of play that led to our goal, which he scored.
  10. If we signed him right now we'd win the league.
  11. All hail Stevie G Goodness me. The Stevie G cult lives on with revisionism. I heard Stevie G actually slapped Rafa and dragged him over to the Milan dressing room, where he rogered him in front of wincing, crying Italians, who could do nothing but surrender to such alpha-male dominance on display. And Liverpool won.

Gosh. For this alone I hope England don't make it past first round. I hate this generation.

I like the cricket reference in that Bally thread: New manager bounce...fuck off. Ive just watched that shite. Curtley Ambrose couldnt bounce this lot!
  14. Pretty sure he'd like to be referred to as El Rey when he takes over in La Liga.
  15. Voting this guy as Best New Member He’s been a member before, used to post on the old nufc.nu, Howaythetoon forum, Toontastic and here I believe. Like a bad fart that follows you around.
  16. Moar Leftbacks, innit. No More Goalz. Rafalan Parditez.
  17. I can’t believe Bournemouth are 10th. Some of the shite in this league is unbelievable and just goes to show how just a tiny bit of investment from Ashley would’ve seen us comfortable by now.
  18. Nah, it was Shelvey and Perez's misses that did. This. This. And this. Missing easy chances has been the story of our season, and needlessly puts our defence under pressure. As soon as shelveys miss happened the momentum shifted big time. They felt they could take it and they did.
