I take it someone's already done the Klopp/Deidre from Corry comparison?
-
Shaqiri is in terrible shape like
-
Amazing how much we've missed a deadball specialist.
-
I'm willing to bet that by the time he's 27 you're the only one talking about it. How much?
-
Didn't he get a fairly long stretch in the team last season and was gash?
-
Benitez can work within constraints. He can't work for someone with opposing goals to him.
-
Yes, they're asking for one.
-
He's a poor man's Scott Parker.

Be pretty exciting if we do. In my opinion we should/could actively try and upgrade him as I just don't rate him that highly, and hopefully that's what we're doing. Be staggered if Rafa actually pulled it off mind. While an upgrade would certainly be decent, we shouldn’t be letting our only decent striker go, full stop. A club our size shouldn’t have only one first team striker in the squad. Mitro hasn’t proved that he can be the teams main goal scorer when called upon.

I know there's an element of (bad) luck to injuries, but is his condition not questionable when he pings his hamstring running 10 mins into the first game of the season?

Jellied eel cunt?

While we could do with a world class striker, we also need more players who will score ANY when Gayle isn't playing. 10 goals would place him in the top scorers for some seasons 2004/05 – Alan Shearer & Craig Bellamy (7) 2005/06 – Alan Shearer (10) 2006/07 – Obafemi Martins (11) 2007/08 – Michael Owen (11) 2008/09 – Obafemi Martins & Michael Owen (8) 2009/10 – Kevin Nolan & Andy Carroll (17) 2010/11 – Kevin Nolan (12) 2011/12 – Demba Ba (16) 2012/13 – Demba Ba (13) 2013/14 – Loic Remy (14) 2014/15 – Papiss Cisse (11)

Daft thing about the Man City comparison is he's right that they're bankrolled with an essentially endless money pit but the comparison is bollocks - Man Utd, Arsenal, Spurs are not.
-
It's a tackle Rooney used to make and get away with when he was an England regular, think we've seen the same thing here.
-
Stupid from Shelvey but it takes a strong man not to stamp on "Dele" like.
-
Ironically, if he'd stumped up for Carr's first choices, we wouldn't be stuck with dead weight on high wages we can't shift. Just when you think the penny might have dropped, he does it all over again.

The Sun (and the Chron) always get their writing style shown up when posting on here - 5 millions paragraphs each 5 words long. Looks more like a shopping list rather than an article.

Do you really not see a difference between going from £40k a year to £32k a year and going from £125k a week to £100k a week? I can't believe even you are that much of a cretin. If I was earning 150k a year at an amazing job I loved, I'd probably turn down a 175k offer at a shit company. At that pay, I'd probably be living pretty well.
