  1. Last time I remember seeing him was away at The Valley, where we lost 2-0. He netted a penalty at the end. As far as I remember he's pretty quick, half decent left foot and good at running with the ball. Better than Duff, in other words.
  2. Mowen

    Peter Løvenkrands

Depends whether Lovenkrands already has a club by then though.
  3. Djimi Traore is complete dump. On what I know of them I'd accept Pamarot and Thomas from that lot, although I haven't seen Thomas play for a couple of years.
  4. I've never seen a team cheat anywhere near as much as Inter did in that CL group mind. Kez, only saw highlights for the game at SJP so extrapolated that behaviour to assume it was worse over the 90. The game at the san siro was a complete farce though.
  5. 5:30. Hmmm. Might not be so easy to do this now.
  6. I am shocked, what a f***ing waste of a great football player. Yeah waste. He should go play for one of the big plastic super money clubs like Inter so his talent can actually be wasted. Actually, he should go to the likes of Spurs or Villa, so he can "challenge the top four" I fail to see what's wrong with him joining l'OM. He'll be paid alot, he'll be playing in the Champions League and he'll hopefully be fighting for the league title. You all want to make it out like he's going to Uzbekistan or something. I'm sure Lucho will enjoy playing at one of the biggest clubs in the world infront of some of the best supporters in the world. And I'll enjoy watching him lead the team in the fight for the title. Honestly, I'm disgusted by a football world where someone moves to the biggest club in France and it's considered a waste because he's not at a "super club". Your being to objective here, stop it "One of the biggest clubs in the world" in what world is Marseille one of the biggest clubs? biggest cheaters maybe. The point with Lucho is that in my eyez he's one of the best midfielders in the world, and he should have gone to a bigger club than the golf shirt wearing french fries Marseille is. End of. From a fan of Italian football and, more specifically, Inter Milan. I guess your either an idiot, or an Juve fan (then your probably both). Inter has not been convicted of anything regarding the calciopoli, so why you wanna connect Inter with cheating i can't understand but hey, your a attention h**ker when it comes to me Mowen, no secrets there. Go read some facts before you talk shit about clubs like Inter. Marseille = convicted cheaters Inter = pure soul and love I am an idiot, but I'm no Juve fan. I also don't particularly remember replying extensively to you in the past. You're a fan of italian football afaik, which is rife with cheating. If you want clear evidence of Inter cheating I recommend you watching the footage of us battering you 2-2 at the San Siro under Sir Bobby a few years back. If you can watch that game and tell me Inter weren't, to a man, a bunch of cheating cunts for 90mins I'll be flabbergasted. edit: what does h**ker mean? I can't work it out...

  8. That is absolutely quality. Can't handle how funny it is that it's HTT. NE5 lines obviously genius. edit: worth posting on TT so he can see it?
  9. I wish that club all the ill in the world.
  10. It's barrel scraping time when you're copying Dave's gags.
  11. I wouldn't be surprised. Should be a decent signing for a promoted team, although he may well not be up to it in the long run. He certainly won't be if he's played at full back.
  12. And anyone who had any sense of morality would walk away feeling mightily ashamed that they had managed to dupe the money off hard-working fans. However Owen is motivated by money, it doesn't matter that he is worth millions, and that the £2 million "loyalty" bonus and nearly £500,000 for the extra month is more than most of us will have in our lifetimes. He couldn't give a fuck, its all about the cash for Mr Owen, always has been, always will be. Well, not really. It's not like he was throwing bongo parties till 3 a.m. every morning and snorting coke from a stripper's tits. As far as he's concerned, he might not have scored the goals, but he put in the work, ate the right stuff, got enough sleep etc. etc. You can be sure he doesn't feel any guilt at all about his performances for NUFC, even if he'll be the first to agree he's disappointed. He's 29 now, and currently a former European Player of the Year who's been unlucky with injuries. This is his last chance at a massive jackpot before he retires to breed horses. If he stayed at NUFC for even a season, he'd not only take a big pay cut, but he'd be a 30-year-old Championship player who's not getting any better, and his earning potential for the remainder of his career would be perhaps a third of what it is right now if he plays his cards right. Any working-class person with an ounce of sense would do exactly the same thing. £30,000 a week from football for a few more years and then however much he makes from his horses is substantially more than the average joe will ever make tbh though Doesn't work like that though. 10 years on £30k pw would be more that enough for anyone, but everyone takes what they can. Everyone in top level football is a mercenary. I wouldn't expect Owen to be any different just because he's not justified his wages so far, and I certainly wouldn't use it as a stick to beat him with compared to any of the overpaid shower of shite that helped us go down.
  13. That u21s team doesn't excite me at all. I didn't watch this tournament for exactly that reason. If I'm watching u21s I want to be watching genuinely exciting talents playing football that's easy on the eye. We had a bunch of 21-23 year old bully boys who were probably bigger and more experienced than everyone else; Muamba, Noble, Cattermole, Milner, Taylor (had he been fit), Onuoha, etc. Who in that squad do we really hold out any hope for? I guess Richards could get his act back together again, Walcott and Agbonlahor are on the way up and Hart looks decent. Maybe Johnson? Most of that squad will or should never get anywhere near being regulars in the first team squad. Boring as owt.
  14. Make your mind up Chris. I know which one I'd prefer. We haven't had a proper pre-season to get us going in years.
  15. That idiots will bet on him. Would they refund it if he doesn't end up at city?
  16. Any idea on when that would be announced? Also, any clue on allocation / pricing? Presumably they won't have the cheek to charge £40 again.
  17. If we did I won't be sad to see them go, whoever they were.
  18. To an extent I agree, but ManU got most of their money because they've been (give or take) the best team in the country for the past twenty years, a lot of which was based on the fact they brought a number of superb youngsters through their academy (Giggs, Beckham, Nevilles, Scholes, even Nicky Butt). It feels more like they've earned the right to spend extravagent amounts of money to stay at the top of the pile. What have City ever done to deserve it?
  19. That sounds alright. At least Shola isn't in the team.
  20. It isn't a no-brainer. It's the opposite. It's a real brainer.
  21. I had about a fiver on them to win in 90mins after about 50mins, got 4.8 on betfair. Probably my best ever bet.
  22. Can't we do what we did with chops and offer him a new contract as a token gesture to ensure we receive some compensation for him?
  23. Utter bollocks. mate, we know you disaprove of the ashley regime, we know its been a disaster, we know you prefer freddy. you dont have to just be negative all the time you know, you're becoming a bit of a pantomime figure now, NE5 did it so much better. Why can't we be negative all of the time? We've just had our worst season for about 2 decades, I can't see any reason to be positive at all. E I E I E I O...
