It could. Shame about the shit finishing and first touch it would produce. Having never seen him play, I'd still start lovelyhands over one of them. Can't say an awful lot for Carroll but Shola's finishing has never been his problem, definitely not. Not his biggest problem, but still a problem.

£6m + a competent player is a staggering offer for someone who is one of the biggest wankers in the premiership. He's got ability, without a doubt. Fuck knows when he last used it though.

Commons is nothing special. Saw him a couple of times for forest, got a decent shot on him, not particularly quick, no great quality. Probably marginally better than Duff.
