I don't know if he'd ever go into it, but I reckon Scholes might have the ability to do well. I also think Shearer could do well, but he's such a big name that his first job (almost certainly with us) will make or break him. Foreign players who come here are instantly giving themselves more of a chance - learning other cultures, languages and styles can only be beneficial to a prospective manager. To that end Michael Owen could potentially do a good job, but I'm not sure he's got a forceful enough personality.

There is no guarantee at all Harry will play him if he is fit. Hutton has been poor. That's why Spurs went on to buy Corluka and Chimbonda. I've been impressed with what I've seen of Hutton (only decent Spurs player in the 1-4 for starters) he's just been out injured a lot. Defoe/Keane would have been the starting partnership up top without a doubt if Defoe had been fit. Having watched that, whilst the sending off was the right decision (however Dean arrived at it) I think the ref seemed to be leaning towards Spurs a lot more. They got the vast majority of decisions imo.

I wouldn't say he is, at least not 'by far'. However he is probably is our most influential player when he's on form, simply because of his pace. I'd say he was our most important player at the moment.
