Alright, so there are forever 'big club' arguments on this board, and let's face it - they're about as exciting as Spurs ITKs. So I thought I'd put a different slant on it. What is the one factor beyond all others that defines a club as being 'small'? There's only one contender for me: playing music after a goal. Almost as cringeworthy as having a full size model shark in your bedroom.

I'm not going to say it as I'm never right, but I feel the same way about this game as I usually do.

Don't know which way you're arguing this, but was speaking to a Citeh supporting mate of mine the other day, same age as me (23) who reckons Keegan is far and away the best manager they've had in his lifetime, and won't hear a word against him. There isn't a club team Keegan has left without them being in a far better position on the pitch than when he joined. Apart from us. Our team was far better when he left than it was when he arrived (Obviously assuming you're talking about his second incarnation as manager). The performances at OT and WHL were arguably the best since the Robson era.

£15 I think. As has been said, the size of Blackburn and proximity of about 10 other league clubs has always contributed to them not having a huge fanbase. A far better excuse than Portsmouth's imo.

Newcastle has a population of 189,863. Blackburn has a population of 105,085. You know full well that doesn't tell the whole story.

You are kidding right? 10,000? There are divison 4 (sorry league 2) teams with higher attendances. I just find the practice of looking down on other clubs based on attendance figures to be entirely pointless. Attendance is based on a whole bunch of factors the club has no influence over like geography/population. They're a club in a city of barely 100,000 people located right next to a giant glory-hunter magnet in Man United. 20,000 average and lows of around 10,000 is normal. Bollocks, had we got 20,000 for a cup game it would be all over the back of the Sun. 10,000 is shite for a team that won the premiership. We only got 20,000 against Tottenham in the league cup.
