Don't think so. Rooney, Defoe and Heskey are nailed on and I think Capello will want to take someone who could cover Heskey's role, probably Crouch or Carlton Cole. Even if there was a 5th striker taken I think Bent and Agbonlahor are ahead of him at the moment.

I'm very happy with how things are going on the pitch at the moment but there are plenty of reasons to be concerned given Ashley's track record of getting pretty much every major decision since he arrived wrong. This is a man who, when faced with a relegation battle last season sold two important players, made a profit on sales and hindered our chances of survival. Logic dictates he'd keep the team together to give us the best shot at going up but history suggests he may well not. There are plenty of reasons to be happy at the moment but it would be naive in the extreme to not be concerned about what will happen in January. Regardless of what you believe re: finances he's shown himself time and time again to be utterly clueless with regards as to what's going on out on the pitch.

He's a staggering player and has probably won more than anyone else on the planet. In a funny sort of way I think he may have underachieved purely at an individual level - he's had a great career but should have been in the top 2-3 players in the world for much of it and has never been quite that good imo. That goal against Arsenal is one of the best I've seen.

I rated him. Would have had him in this England team if fit, could do all the jobs that Heskey does for it with the added bonus of being able to score. Not a world beater but he had a lot of talent.
