Did he play for Wimbledon? There was a FM (probably CM back then) legend i really couldn't remember their name, same team as Reo-Coker. Serge Makofo No-one can hold a candle to Tonton though.

Should be on BBC Sport shouldn't they?
-
Fuck the stadium, Nile Ranger has scored.
-
Cramp wasn't it? Light orange tbh.

Sounds fantastic. Bloke I play football with markets Coke and was part of putting the prize together, they do one game a month.

The only doubt it whether or not Pancrate starts imo. Even when we live dangerously, as we did yesterday, I just don't ever feel like we're not going to win.
-
Thought he put in a very good shift when he came on, worked much harder than he has before and almost set up a goal for Ranger. Might be a cracking impact sub now God's fit again.
-
Not a chance. I reckon the team'll stay roughly the same with Nolan in for Butt and possibly R. Taylor or Guthrie in for Pancrate to offer a bit more defensively and cover for the more attacking CM.
-
Played much better last night but there were still times when he didn't look arsed. Watching him and José down the left is brilliant though.

I WAS THERE WHEN RANGER SCORED.

Stunning tip onto the bar at 0-0 last night.

Injured, Agree, Injured and gets injured every other day and isn't that good anyway, Disagree as is third choice at Man Utd, Undecided, Undecided. I just don't think it's clear cut either way, thus it'd be worth considering. I can see where you're coming from and whilst Harper has been good this season I think a lot of that is down to the drop in division. He was disappointing at the end of last season (no-one would have mentioned him in this context back then) and it's harder to judge with keepers but there's no way he's having to deal with crosses or shots of the same quality this year and there's no real challange when it comes to organising the defence. The jump from the championship to the world cup is too big to bridge. Having said that, if everyone's injured he would be worthwhile having as a 3rd choice I guess.

Robinson's been in superb form for Blackburn by all accounts this season and that's top flight football. Plus he has England experience.
-
I just don't think he's good enough tbh. I'd have him at about 7th or 8th choice, but for me the likes of James, Green, Kirkland, Foster, Robinson and Hart are all better bets at the moment. I just don't think he'd be up to it, maybe a different story if it had happened earlier in his career.

Shocking idea. Done well this season mind.
-
Yeah, I've made a thread about this before. All loans should be abolished imo.
-
Surprisingly good for a short bloke actually. More defensive than attacking headers, granted.
-
Chelsea, Wolfsberg, Real Madrid and Juventus-B Munich draw. £2.38 to win £45ish. Ipswich, Swansea and M'boro. £9 to win £31.05.
-
It's the best he's ever been for England though, so it's pretty fucking effective. Like I said, build the team around him and you'll lose most of what we're currently getting from Rooney.
-
Gerrard has played his best football of his career in the centre though hasnt he really? Through his career, I mean. He looks ok on the left but nowhere near as effective as he can in the centre but he is a top class player. (I personally believe the champions league is a stronger tournament than the World Cup and Gerrard has played exceptionally in that - hence the word "can". Still doesnt look comfortable on the left to be but fair enough. Lennon has been in good rather than brilliant form in the past few months but 18 might be stretching it. I'll hope to share your optimism next year then. You're essentially advocating we return to the core problem; that being to shoe-horn our best players into the side willy-nilly - purely for the sake of them being there. That seemed almost a necessity to the likes of McClaren and Eriksson - and this is where Capello is streets ahead of either of them. He's actually found a way to play our two most talented footballers* in the same eleven, in a way that is actually beneficial to the team. That means Gerrard out wide. No, it's not his most effective position on an individual level, but it is for England. He and Lampard simply don't play together in the centre of the pitch. *That's Gerrard and Lampard, it isn't even up for debate imo. Think you might have forgotten about a cheeky scouser who plays a bit further up the pitch Fully agreed mind.
-
If the team was built around Gerrard he wouldn't be on the left, but Capello has (rightly imo) built it aroung Rooney. Gerrard's best position is behind a lone striker but leaving Rooney up there on his own marginalises him, he needs a partner. Rooney's been sublime, Gerrard and Lampard are both playing very well and scoring goals and the formation seems to have the best fit to optimise the combined talents of our best three attacking players. I thought Lennon was fantastic for the whole of last season, my missus is a Spurs fan so I always see them on the telly and he's been MOTM in almost every game they've played, he looks a different player to the one of two years ago, his crossing and finishing in particular have come on leaps and bounds. FWIW I'm relatively optimistic but it's only a cup competition, anything can happen. At the moment mind we look as though we could do very, very well.
-
Spurs never sell on the cheap, but he's still got the talent in there somewhere. He'd be a fantastic signing for us if we could get him for £5m imo, can't see it happeneing though. There'd be competition if it was at that price and I've no doubt he'll want big wages.
