    Players in public

What have you been smoking? Ludicrous suggestion.
  2. Why not ever point it out then? Cunt. edit: Dave, I don't mean you.
  3. Is anyone on here around that age? Sometimes I f***ing feel like there are people that age around here with some of the s*** that gets said. Internet forums. It's always the same. I try to stay away from it as much as possible. Name: firetotheworks Posts: 6604 (7.178 per day) Clearly don't try that hard
  4. that`ll be tough Yes, I was referring to him. Tell me dj, it an illusion or is he actually as fat as he looks. He do put in some work when he comes in, never complains and works hard at training. You've been to their training or are you his agent? whatever makes you come Then i guess you're just a fan who believes he knows every detail of a club? How players practice, what they think about and what the team eats during lunch? You know i have been an Inter fan since your mother was wearing diapers? You could almost call me daddy cuz i pimp them hoes Ibra moved to inter when his mother was wearing diapers?
  5. Why? Presumably it isn't a stipulation of being in the PL to have undersoil heating. Sounds like a waste of fucking money given that most games have been called off anyway.
  6. Compared to where? Worst weather in 30 years and as far as I can tell from the news most of Europe has stopped.
  7. I would have thought the transport links are a major issue, trains in and out of london are disgracefully poor at the moment and it would be a right arse on trying to ship 10k extra people in and out.
  8. Now before I'd experienced London myself, I'd have agreed. Until I went down there in September, out of Heathrow and onto said UNDERGROUND. Five minutes later we were above ground! That's not an Underground at all! I've been on the Underground many times, admittedly more centrally, usually Victoria to Highbury but a couple of times it has happened seems to be the outskirts mainly? It's outside a lot around Wimbeldon is it not? I seem to remember that from what I was over there. A lot outside Zones 1-3 is overground.
  9. Tubes quite often slow down or stop during bad weather. Also I'd wager that a v high proportion have to use overground for at least part of their journey, if all providers are as bad as Southeastern then there won't be the capacity to deal with this many people. Won't be anything to do with the pitch. He won't know man. He'll have never even been to the Emirates before. Good point. I wish I'd never fucking been. P 3 L 3 F 0 A 8.

  11. I don't understand the obsession with the tag 'creative'. What we need is a midfielder to run the game, someone who can take it by the scruff of the neck, retain possession and ensure the opposition don't rung rings round us like they do half the fucking time at the moment. Our midfield is still a disgrace, we're just getting away with it. Once we've actually got control of a game, which for all our results this season we've barely done, we can start looking for players with specific attributes to help us unlock defences. I thought Barton might be this player when we signed him but he's been shit or injured for 90% of the time. We still miss our Gary Speed or Rob Lee, neither of whom would be given the tag 'creative' but would both make a huge difference.
  12. Fuck it, the FA Cup is great. It's well exciting and I love us being in it. We'll win the league regardless
  13. Don't trust the cunts so layed up £7.50 of it at a cost of 75p. So fucking tight
  14. One of the least subtle attempts I've seen...I still reckon 3 or 4 bites though.
  15. Went £4.50 on Arsenal at 4/1 in play a while ago.
  16. It's mental. Despite Ashley making this exact mistake 12 months ago there's no chance he'll do it now.
  17. I think a good run in the FA cup in all likelihood would do us more good than bad. There's clearly a chance it could do the opposite but I think the momentum of winning games would be a good thing for the team and club.
  18. Villa, Everton, Fulham, Man City, Pompey, Liverpool, Stoke and Spurs. £5 wins £80. Blackpool, Bolton, W Brom, Wigan, Newcastle. £2.50 wins £55.
  19. That'd be great, I just can't see the second half of that sentance happening. Our midfield pairing of Nolan and Smith, whilst perfectly effective in this league, would be an utter embarassment in the prem.
  20. As if we can afford to! We've only got about four to start with I don't want to, but we've got Nolan, Smith, Guthrie, Barton and Butt for the middle. Wouldn't surprise me at all if we flog one, especially if someone panics and bids £6m or something equally ludicrous for Nolan.
  21. I think we'll lose a midfielder to a struggling prem team. Maybe Guthrie or Nolan.
  22. Does that mean the bookies think its likely to happen? More than anything it means a lot of people have been betting on it. Bookies change their odds according to their liability rather than the likelihood of it happening, although these two things are usually closely linked.
  23. They've made it up as they go along. Duff £2.5m? Valencia £16m? Bellamy £10m? Aquilani £17m? Nzonzi £1.5m? Mokoena £300k? Beattie was Stoke's worst signing? This is fucking mental reading
  24. Nah. Poetry in motion that, never have I seen a footballer so completely in control at all times of something so stunningly difficult. Up there with Bergkamp against against Argies in making something that difficult look so simple and beautiful. Love that goal.
