With news that City have apparently offered Kaka a quarter of a million a week, just think of their wage bill in about 2 or 3 years when they could have about 15 players earning over 80k a week including average players like Wayne Bridge. Its disgusting imo and this kind of thing will ruin the game. So the question is, is it time to cap clubs like Man City and end their monopoly?

Thing is, we have lost Martins this past few weeks and he is more important to us than people give him credit for. He will stretch defences, particularly away from home which will give players like Jonas and Owen more space. We will have great pace up front, not to mention extra goals that he will score. Martins is key right now, as is Beye who it would seem was the gem in the solid defence we had for weeks. Fact is, Martins playing we get us more goals, Beye, Colo, Bass and Enrique at the back will stop us leaking, that is the key to our survival. Best we can do is sit back and hope they come into the side again sooner rather than later.

What the hell are you on about? I'm on about Michael Owens goal celebration today, what was it all about ? Owen has no pull for us, its a myth mate. He has been here 4 years and we have pulled fuck all from him being here, infact we have severely declined since he signed, not his fault i know, but why would that all of a sudden change anything? To the world of football now, Owen is a has-been mate. If he stays, he stays, if he goes, replace him, simple. He means nothing to the fans at the end of the day, people might bleat on about him, but he isnt fit to lace Given's boots in terms of meaning to this club and its fans. Given or Owen? Shay Given any day of the week.

Aye, like Owen cant be replaced with another forward. I mean seriously Given and Owen? Lose Given and we have Harper in nets, but we still have Michael Owen who will be linked away with the club every single window until he does eventually leave, and threads like this will continually be created. Lose Owen however, and we replace him with another forward, and we still have the loyal Shay Given who is the only thing that resembles a legend at this club these days. He may also be the last one we will see for some time. Dont forget lads this isnt the first time a transfer request came in from Shay, this doesnt mean Given is off or that he is disloyal. Given anyday of the week, he means a million times more to NUFC than Owen.

Get a grip, we were leading at one point ffs. We were leading and THEN went behind, our own mistakes mate, so not a point gained, 2 points dropped.
