Our players need to calm the fuck down. Too stressed in everything. Bruno man, grow the fuck up.

He wasn’t serious.

Obviously. Not sure what your point is regarding my post mate. We will do what we want and can, of course. However I’m pretty certain that SA isn’t gonna be the route we decide to go. Next to no chance.
-
A point worth mentioning. How many of these players in SA have the hunger and attitude on a sporting level? How many of these have the right type of ambition and mentality to really make Howe want them and think they are the right ingredients to evolve us even further. Never mind their wages. I don’t see us signing a single one from there. Don’t want any of them either. Imo they are players that I can see ManU signing.

Todibo, Scalvini, Dioamande, Silva to name a few. Some very expensive and difficult deals mind. We have been linked with Dragusin who might be a cheaper more realistic option. No idea of how good he is. Benfica are next to impossible to deal with. Someone like Silva might be RM bound (based on nothing really) Nothing is impossible though, as we have seen when we got Tonali. With Botman and Schär we might go with a cheaper one who we think might prove to be a bargain signing and be top quality. The team and shape is more important. As we can see with some of the CB we have played this season. RW absolute priority imo.

That’s what the police officer would have liked to see as well. Assuming it was in Paraguay.

Anyone seen much of Palacios at Leverkusen? I imagine that it would be a very difficult deal to get done. Especially in January.

Jetro Willems (now playing for Deportivo Castellón)

Thanks for sharing U. He looked soooo good before that. -
I meant the talk in general, but yeah your post made think of what i have thought about posting on a couple of occasions. I totally agree about the next window as I don’t see us signing too many players really, and probably no massive signing. IF it happens then I can only see one, if that. Maybe not these two players but it’s not entirely impossible that we sign say two 20-25m players like Leonardo and Dragusin for example. Especially depending on the outcome of Botmans injury. I just named two that we have been linked with that might fit the bill and strengthen our options. I doubt that we will go for a CM unless Howe absolutely wants someone like say Kalvin Phillips for the long term and if he is available for loan with an option to buy. Having said this it wouldn’t surprise me if we decided to keep our powder dry and go big time in the summer instead. But yeah no idea about the current room when it comes to ffp. Next summer I think that we will sign a CM though, at the very latest. I see Bruno, Willock, Joelinton, Tonali, Longstaff plus another top quality CM being key members of the team/squad going into next season. Wouldn’t surprise me to see Anderson and Miley going out on loan next season. Anderson to a PL side hopefully and see how that goes before his long term is being decided. It’s impossible to say for sure as we have no clue what “budget” we will have next season. RW should be top priority. But another CB and a young striker is very much needed too. The Windows after that, i genuinely don’t know who might leave.

Seen quite a few here and there saying that we don’t need more midfielders as we have him, him and him and them for midfield. Do some people not realise that we with absolute 100% certainty have ambition to evolve and improve and grow as a club and aim to become one of the best in Europe? The club WILL always look to improve and get rid of players not considered to be good enough for where we are going. It’s not kinder garden footie. Having the likes of say Miley and Anderson just to name two won’t stop us from looking to improve at first opportunity possible. I like all of our players in different ways, but there will be a time when will offload player X that we like and player X who in the past has served us well and so on. With that said, we might not make progress in every area in every window. But close to as we are starting to have a decent squad. But we will get rid of players to get better.

Longstaff is good. But we have barely seen anything of the best from Tonali yet.
-
True. Also what someone who didn’t know would say.
-
Agree to disagree. I’d bet my house on it not happening. Age, wages, injuries and so on. Would have been a different matter a while back.
-
We have enough of injury prone strikers. This won’t happen!

Not sure what makes folks on here say "They knew" or They didn't. We can speculate about it, aye.
-
My gut feeling too mate.

He can be unplayable in patches and then he often goes missing for longer periods of time. It's not exactly rocket science to say that he is very much a "confidence player". Yes confidence is important and every player plays better with good confidence, obviously. But his problem is that the level between high on confidence to low confidence is massively vast, and that's the difference between him and a world class player. Simply put, his lowest level is very low. It's a mentality thing and it's obvious to see. You could say that he currently plays for a poor team which obviously doesn't help him right now. However, he has been there a long time and has shown several times that he isn't very consistent overall, during a longer period of time. World class players still manage to look good (or shall i say better) in teams that aren't performing at their best. Thats the difference between a very good player and world class. Consistency.
-
Rashford's mentality is too weak to be a proper world class player. He lacks the consistency because of his confidence which is too much up and down. The World Class players when playing at their lowest level are still on a decent level relative to their ability.

Been lots of noise about Nico Williams. His contract expires in the summer too. He might be Barca bound though, despite them having that 16 year old. It somehow feels like there's a lot of left sided attackers but i struggle to come up with too many for the right. Neto would have been class (injuries though) Maybe that japanese guy at Sociedad.
