  1. I'm having half a boner, it almost stands up of excitement, but it also looks a bit like a question mark. But Rafa has decided to stay so GTFI!
  2. Ask him when you're assisting him as he's benching. If he says that he likes him then just press all the weights down until his legs stop kicking around.
  3. Aye we were. Not sure I want anyone from Boro. Parking the bus kind of teams don't always tell the true quality of a defender (like nod head basically said)
  4. It's not like the both of them can decide on everything in a few hours Details and more advanced talk will come up later than the first initial meeting.
  5. Probably been mentioned by someone on here before, but it's not just a world class manager, amazing and experienced person, perfect fit for this club, but also one that I can see staying here for a long long time provided there's backing and no f*** ups. I like this part because he's basically done it all already and I'm not worried at all about other clubs taking him away from us if we do well in the future, and he still breathes football and craves for more which I'm certain that he will do until he decides to retire. We won't get a better chance to build this club up to what it can and should be so please don't f*** it up now, or further ahead..
  6. Rafa Benitez and Mike Ashley have met for talks over the way forward for Newcastle United. Benitez and managing director Lee Charnley left the club's training ground by helicopter yesterday for a meeting with Ashley. And the Gazette understands that the discussions over manager Benitez's future, and United's summer transfer strategy, went well. Benitez and Charnley sat down with owner Ashley away from Tyneside to discuss a way forward for the promoted club. Ashley was at St James's Park on Sunday to see Newcastle secure the Championship title on the final day of the season. The billionaire congratulated Benitez and his staff after the match. There has been no comment from Newcastle on the talks between Benitez and Ashley. 7. Looked impressive in those highlights from the Barnsley game. Perpaps he's starting to find his feet and feeling settled and at home. Definitely a keeper. Having said that we still need at least one left sided winger. Think Atsu's best position is on the right anyway.
  8. Benitez stayed to work?
  9. It's because we know how talented he is, and how good he can be. Very happy to see him finding some form at the end of this season But, aye, poor season might be going too far. If his form didn't pick up then yeah maybe.
  10. God I'd love to listen to that meeting, I think..
  11. We're a bigger club and have bigger expectations. Take it as a compliment that the media thinks we should be aiming for top half or better next season. Aye, I just wanted to brag a little bit I guess Nah but seriously, some say 150m and that's just a bit over the top Imo.
  12. Is it just us who need to spend +100m according to the "Experts"? Or do they just not talk about Brighton at all? Haven't seen anything about them having the need to spend this or that.

    Chancel Mbemba

I like him and he is talented, just needs to find a bit consistency.
  14. Feeling a bit sad for that opera singer that has turned up 2 times now to celebrate their title win.
  15. Watching all those celebrations and ours on here feels weird, are we allowed to experience happy moments like these? Us not being Brighton feeling absolutely sick that we've blown it
