Not sure about his return date, but kicking a ball doesn’t say too much imo. What takes a long time is to get the knee the stability and strength that it needs so that you can rely on it being strong enough under heavy load as well as well as being able to handle awkward/accidental twists and turns without a setback. That proper stability and reliability is what takes such a long time to get back. Every progress is positive though, even if minor steps alone.

In the video from the Adidas training center a player passed the ball across the swimming pool and Hall’s first touch to control the ball was some tekkers like One thing doing it on the pitch but standing like that at the edge of the pool looked kind of ridiculous in a good way. Made me think of Foden for some reason.

100% MUST be 1st choice next season. He has shown more than enough for me towards the end of last season, plus glimpses before that. Unless he gets a few games and is poor both on/off the ball then fine, rotate him, but I don’t see it. What he offers on the ball and in general play outweighs his sometimes weaker defensive attributes. Even his defensive side has gotten better and rather quickly. On the ball he is one of our top three players. I have extremely high hopes for both him and Tonali. I think Hall will kick on from last season and continue to grow even further. Wouldn’t surprise me to see him being one of our POTY contenders. Also want to add to that, he has end product which is massive to have from an “unexpected” position.

Might as well plan for the season without him. Only way that makes any sense.

I probably wouldn’t even care or be bothered at all. I also wouldn’t have any sort of knowledge or insight regarding other clubs/managers. Imho I think the club wants PM to have most control on recruitment and Howe more focused out on the grass, less control regarding transfers. I don’t think Howe ideally wants lesser control, he might feel that he wants more. This doesn’t mean he’s unhappy or that they won’t be working together and manage to do it very well once “details” and boundaries have been ironed out. He used this interview to say a thing or two, not much wrong in that, but he knew what he was doing. I’m sure all will be well. Pure guess take though, he might have/get lesser control than before, question is how much and if he’s ok with that or not, time will tell. Obviously he’s got to have a say regarding players, especially what type of player. I’m sure PM understands this too.

People are incredibly naive at times. If (if if if if) Wilson is fit he’s a great player to have blah blah. Absolutely pointless to say if. Genuine question, I might be wrong. But didn’t you defend us going for Hall and Livramento? Or maybe that was someone else, like quite a few. Not too dissimilar imo. I’m happy that we have Hall/Tino just to be clear. Despite them not being 1st team choices.

Any idea when the presser is today? 1: Perfect opportunity to write off the talk and show his loyalty to his current club. 2: Not doing so will only intensify talk and imo prove that he’s willing to take the job if offered. Normally EH would kill the talk straight away because he doesn’t want any distractions.

Eliesse Ben Seghir is supposedly quite highly rated. Not seen him myself though. Probably not the profile of player we are looking at though since he’s a central attacking midfielder I think.

Small things, but lovely to see. I’m talking about the Joelinton interview in Germany that was posted today where you could see Tonali walking behind Wilson and putting his hands up on his shoulders. Lovely to see him looking happy, relaxed and settled. He will be amazing this season, I just know it. It’s written in stone.

Did I quote you!?? I was just saying what I think. I see many saying that they are extremely overpaying. Yes it’s a lot of money when you think about the contract expiring. But that’s the way they gotta do it to make the deal happen. It’s not just a random young kid they are signing.

Personally, I’d sure as hell rather do this deal that ManU are doing than DCL for 25m that some on here were very ok with. IF we had done the same deal that these cunts have then I wouldn’t be complaining too much. Id be thinking that this is what it took to beat RM to the signature. Having said that, for the money I would have gone for someone else.
