Can't remember the exact games, poor might be a bit harsh, but he hasn't been good either, The Man U is one, and i don't think he was any good against Norwich either. Some of his passing was woeful. Generally he has just looked knackered lately, not playing with the same energy and confidence (i know he's had Raylor behind him, but still)

I like Jonas but he's been very poor lately tbh, and Obertan is shitshit, our fullbacks are poor (except Santon) Quite a few positions..

Agree with this, other than I don't think he'd command a great deal so I'm not sure about improving on him for less than that. Couldn't be that hard. Clyne? Would like him very much, but if i had to choose i would rather see us sign a quality LB and play Santon on the right. Not sure we can find a cheap LB as good as Clyne is at RB though (know that Clyne has played LB as well) Clyne would probably cost as much as we get for Simpson, or maybe even less. I have no problem with Santon at LB. Clyne and Mbiwa in would be great.

Best is one of the biggest reasons we were 3rd after 12 games. He's easily good enough to start. There's as many as 4 even bigger reasons imo, Ba, Krul, Colo, Taylor.

Santon and Clyne as fullbacks with Colo and Mbiwa as CB's wouldn't look bad at all. Two aged 20 and one 22 led by the imperious Colo Would love to see two fullbacks bombing forward and support our midfield and attack, Ben Arfa cutting in sometimes with Clyne overlapping on the flank and Jonas and Santon on the other side. I really do hope we're after these two.

Still can't understand that he's still only 20 years old, something like 6/7 caps for Italy, played in the CL. Come on Pardew, give the boy a chance.

Clyne would be a great investment, good player and will only get better, easily better than Simpson already imo.
