I honestly cannot se Keegan play Bassong and Taylor in central defense with Colo in the DM position. Especially against Arsenal since they haven't played together yet. We are not playing against a bad team.

I guess the title of the thread says it all. Im mostly looking foward to se us play against Spurs and Sunderland. Sunderland they are Sunderland, they think they are miles ahead of us, at least when looking on their forums (not all of their fans tbf). And Spurs Because, well i just love it when we beat them. And this season will make it even a little bit more special i think.

I wonder if they will sell Berbatov in this transfer window. If not then it doesn't look good for them having a uinhappy player in the squad. And if they do sell i doubt they have time to sign a player even near as good as him. Keane and Berbatov sold then. Those two were the best players for them last season and without them i can really see them struggling for goals as many has mentioned before. Well i hope we dont get "smashed" And i dont think we will get. Im still optimistic about this game and hope we can get something from it. Even if we loose i hope there's alot of positive stuff to take with us for next game. Playing our own game and showing confidence as we did against Man utd. Expecting too much for someone who hasnt even been in the country for a month yet. If he has a competent performance, I'll be very pleased. Give it two or three years and then hope he'll be the rock in our defence able to hold us together against top sides. It's not like i demand or expect him to have a SUPER performance. But i have a feeling we will see the best of Colo in this game. Even if he might get even better in the future when he gets used to this league. But Playing against Arsenal is like playing against Barcelona when it comes to playing style, not many long and high balls. So i think this game might suit him. But of course the whole team has to defend well also..

I haven't read through this hole thread tbh, but i think this might be a game where Coloccini shows his class, i hope he does. His positioning will be vital for us i think, and im confident he will do well... COME ON NEWCASTLE!! He has showed class before. But in this game i think we will see even more of it...
