  1. Yeah i've been leaning towards France having checked up on the international scene just lately. It'd be interesting to see if Germany can follow up on what was a very promising World Cup. Them and Argentina were the two best teams in that tournament. Benzema to flop. Feel free to quote me on that. What are you basing that on like? Pure guess-work? Thought exactly the same!
  2. saw most of his games in the ACN and liked him then actually; energetic, neat on the ball, range of passing hard to determine on those ACN pitches though so i'm not sure about that...he made a lot of stuff happen for cameroon i thought in that tournament also liked alexandre song in that midfield during the ACN...perhaps we could shine a laser pen in wengers eyes and nip in for that lad while he's temporarily blinded!! Same here. He impressed me at the ACN.
  3. Fucking "forum-hopping" or whatever you want to call it isn't funny either...
  4. What a dissapointing signing that would be. Fuck you!!!
  5. Emana impressed me at the ACN... (but so did Geremi :-)) watching videos on the ever reliable youtube. looks average to me with poor ball control. Luque was KING there...remember? :-)

  7. Exactly my thoughts. I wish our players were half as committed to the club as he is to Chelsea. And yes he didn't have to write the letter but he did and that speaks volumes. Remember Chelsea bought his committment for £130k pw. Good Point! :-)

    Arda Turan?

Interest from Spurs Apparently, Spurs have bid 13M yep, a spurs fan, who may not be my friend for much longer sent me this http://img396.imageshack.us/img396/1157/picture1ea7.png Wouldn't it be great if he turns down the bigger Spurs offer to sign for the Toon? Revenge is what I am dreaming of... :-(
  10. but then again he was just stupid to sign for Chelski. So it is probably his own fault. Would still like to see him at SJP in b/w... :-)
  11. As soon as he signed for Chelski, it was clear for me, that he will become sulky again... Doesn't like to play the 2nd fiddle.
  12. Completely agree. Looks like the answer... :-)))

  14. We could have won something during Sir Bobby's days if we had Weir. Even now, an aging Weir would be value add to us. Rather Taylor plays like the current Weir rather than like himself. What does your Mrs think of Weir??? :-)
  15. Low door frames at the training ground, I hear. nah, bobby said we had the best door frames in the league he meant goal posts. you know what he was like It was a few years ago now though. We may have bigger door frames than most clubs, but other clubs have better door handles these days. Its a catch up scenario for us again I'm afraid Spot on. My wife was saying if the Arsenal or even Spurs are rumoured to be interested in him, he will make noises to force the club to accept the move. As for us, he is just not interested. He has a reputation of being a confident and sometimes quite difficult character. To deviate slightly, my wife's words did make me wonder on the rumoured Turan and Dunne moves, if we are considered attractive propositions, am sure the transfers would have gathered paced substantially with the players expressing their wishes to move to the clubs. As like my missus say, we are both supporting clubs of dwindling reputations. why don't you bugger off and let your Mrs on to the forum ? :-)
  16. If we'd had Mort in midfield we'd probably have won the fair play league & qualified for europe as a result :-)
  17. Thank you mister. Very good post...
  18. Ahh. Reading this all over atm. Im so happy. Quality player when ive seen him play has impressed. Ben Arfa, Yaya Toure and Richards in now and im happy Where would Ben Arfa fit in? Somewhere between Woodgate and Dawson as he bangs in the goals :-))))
