Portsmouth FC in yet more trouble - administration again?
Geordie Boot Boy replied to GG's topic in Football
As I said, they were out to expose Gaydamark and plea for sympathy. It is desperate, but it has worked for them. 'You're always going on about Nwankwo Kanu, you're never going to meet him.' I've actually met him several times. Have you met Benjamin Netanyahu too? -
Fergie made a comment about he was interested in a player in the summer but he didn't want to come to England, that's what made me discount Ozil. I think they need a decent midfielder, they have Scholes who is old, Carrick s****. Gibson s****. Fletcher is their only reliable midfielder. If any money is part of the deal Everton and the Glazers will have their share not leaving Fergie much, he needs just get players. The player that Fergie was talking about was David Villa. Agreed. Given that he said the player didn't want to change country, it couldn't have been Ozil, who moved from Germany to Spain.

I didn't feel annoyed watching Rooney tonight; I felt a bit sad really. Such a great player (he had been playing great) has recently cut a miserable figure and doesn't look physically or mentally fit to play football at the moment. I hope he sorts himself out. could do with a broken hand or something that would keep him out for a few months but wouldn't threaten his career. It would have to be his left then. We can do without him losing the use of his wanking hand and ending up with yet more tabloid stories about his adventures in brothels.

Not for the money Rooney's on. It'd be like me buying a scratchcard. Ew! Exactly how are you scratching the foil off?!
-
Wilshere was barely on though?
-
Adam Johnson looks an exciting player. Unlucky not to score today a few times.
-
It's good but I think the penalties by the Burnley player (Alexander) last season were better. Unreadable. Unsaveable too.

The 2010-2011 Betting Thread - forum gamble fails, Ash's fault.

I win. Nice one. -
I didn't see that.

I wish they'd get a pundit in who'd disagree with the status quo, even if just for the sake of it. You get sick of constant consensus on every single issue.
-
Aye, I think Webb, for the most part, did well.
-
Disappointed. Wanted the Dutch to do it.
-
And Xavi, even now, is trying to get someone booked.
-
Nope, he was miles on. I dunno how I missed that guy in the middle on the floor.
-
Offside surely?
-
They've done it all game, particularly him and Xavi.

Do you remember the Champions League final between Juventus and Milan a few years ago? This is like one of the classic Newcastle-Liverpool games (for the neutrals) in comparison. There was barely a shot on goal.
-
No, I am too.
-
Rumour is he is a half decent passer, like. Wasn't that goal against Chelsea in the Champions League hit with his left? I could be wrong, mind. Nah. You're right. I just had a quick look. Should've done that first TBH.

The Spanish asking for bookings all the time is irritating.
-
This is destined for penalties.

For the wrong reasons though, been no good football. Its all been about the ref, bad tackles and Robben being a tit. The bottom line is that I've been entertained. I've quite enjoyed the Dutch getting stuck in. Far better than watching Spain pass it back and forth, boring the other team into losing their concentration and scoring after the inevitable defensive error.
