Don´t understand why I´m reading this forum everyday, it is just doom and gloom. One bad result and we are down. well we does not even have to play. it is enough that a team like Wigan, Stoke, West Brom, win there game or something and we are down. Give me a brake the PL is close. everyone can basically beat everyone and that will happen. we think that blackpool and west brom at home is the only games we can get points, the rest of them is unnecessary to play. read the everton thread for example. we lost to blackpool. why can´t we get a point at everton? we are not that bad. btw. why are we unacceptable to win matches and no one else? God, I wish I could stop reading this forum for the weekends.

Was just thinking for my self tonight over our goal difference, and etc, and that we have made 7 goals and, for ex, Liverpool only has made 2 (I think), and that is good. but then it hit me. in 3 of the 4 matches we have only scored 1 goal. that is not especially good and both in the blackpool game and wolves game we have had good goalscoring opportunities and has not scored. should we be worried or not? I know, and I think, we are short up front. But do we have enough goal scorer in our squad? as I said. we have been creating chances. maybe it will start going our way soon. worried or not? that is the big question!

Good player bud got real problem of scoring.

Was critical to Nolan all last season and the Manure game. But funny enough I chance my mined a bit. Nolan does´t contribute to the game in especially much, but he does get in to scoring positions better than most forwards and do score goals. I definitely think that Ben Arfa should play as a attacking player and I do think that Nolan should be considered as a striker and not a midfielder. But as long as we plays 4-5-1 and Carroll is playing I really dont know were to play him. still I would like to see him on the field.

Well, we beat this lot with 5-0 last season (or was it 5-1, what ever) Will be interesting to see the team we play. One side of me does´t want to chance the team (dear me), and one side want to chance Ben Arfa against Nolan and Tiote against Smith.

Still we need another forward to complement Carroll

For the first time ever I got no confidence about the goalkeeper position whats so ever. I´m really scared every time the opposition gets close to goal every time. The way I sees it now is that Harper won´t save us, but he can cost us. Right now it just feels like he does´t even try.

Not particularly worried about going down either. We have a good team and can beat every team bar top 3, Liverpool are shite nowadays, and it is a close league. but then again. I have been confidence about the team all way long.

I have to say, some of the views on this forum are crazy if they don't think Keane would be a positive signing! Damien Duff was a positive signing at the time, doesn't always work out. But yeah I'd take him if it was on a loan, scores goals. No he wasn´t, he was an completely unnecessary signing by Roeder. We had a really upcoming Zog that played really well and Roeder just bought him because he was available Keane would be a perfect partner to Carroll or to take Nolans place. He would be a wonderful signing. Not saying he should play all the time because we now have the ability to play Ben Arfa in the same roll and Nolan as well that really has played well the last to games.

I´m really proud by Hughton and Newcastle, as someone said I can´t remember the last time that happened. The most impressing thing I think is the way he gets out the best of everybody and really developing players. Take the midfield of Barton, Smith and Nolan. Really crappy players that hasent played well for us. But look at them now. Really impressive. That Carroll. Compare him now and the game against WBA when Shola was the number one choice. It´s scary, so scary to think about the development. I thing that I think everyone notice is how much bigger he has got. If you look at Ranger he also start to be a big lad. Maybe he can be the new Carroll in da future
