Look forward to him doing another two 90 min stints for Italy during the international break.
-
Not that bothered about the midfield tbh, this is the same line up which performed well in our CL run. It's the lack of pace at CB which worries me.
-
He'll also get hailed a genius if we win. Both reactions will be deserved.
-
There's a few on here who spend all their time complaining about other people's opinions ironically.
-
That's my main concern as I've already said in the earlier posts. Not a fan of Longstaff but he does help in that sense so no problem with him starting. Arsenal will have pace on the counter, don't think that's a team to take chances with at the back.
-
We don't know if he will sign off on it tbf.
-
Would be so funny it that started belting out at St James if he ever makes another appearance at home.
-
Let's see how it works if we lose possession high up the pitch.
-
I saw a twitter post that Eddie rests Toali to keep him fit for international duty.
-
Brave move by Howe. We'll need to get a positive result because if we get caught short for pace on the counter he's going to get slaughtered.
-
The stupic cunts have got themselves seats in the Stack just to talk about Man U.
-
Surprised that TNT have started the coverage so early at 11am Not so surprised that they done it so they can talk about Man U and Amorin.
-
We'll only sign him because Howe really wants him, and on a free Mitchell might think it's not bad value.

Krafth has had one good game and everyone suddenly thinks he's the best thing since sliced bread. I just think it's massive overreaction for both. I was never one of those who thought Krafth was that bad btw, my comments in his thread will bear that out. He's a good defender for the most part, and not the best bringing the ball out. Tino still has some rough edges, but he's still a very good RB and will get better. A couple of mistakes this season doesn't mean he's suddenly not fit for purpose.
-
He'll look miles better with a quality RW in front of him.
-
How about being demonstrably shite for nearly 30 year yet getting payoff after payoff from clueless club owners?
-
Good. I think patience with Isak's injury niggles is wearing thin now. It wouldn't be an issue if we had a back up striker who we could throw in with confidence on the occasions he is out.
-
Don't know anything about him but his declaration that the soap opera was coming to an end definitely rubbed me up the wrong way.
-
You don't notice him much because on the ball he doesn't do much, his main value is closing down space. Last night when you have Tonali, Willock and Joelinton also sprinting to press hard, it can make difficult to play your way through it and Chelsea got caught several times early on and we scored our first goal because of it. Although that was more due to Tonali and Joelinton rather than Sean specifically, but he plays his part in the press.
-
That's it really. At least we'll tune into this one without feeling like lambs to the slaughter. Very tough fixture for both teams. But hopefully St James will be a bear pit on Saturday and they'll wilt under the cosh.
-
Might explain his career at Chelsea so far tbf.
-
The main issue with them two playing has been Bruno getting caught upfield with no cover behind him because Tonali has been right of centre. He was more central yesterday and that closed a lot of gaps. Ideally the double pivot mentioned by TCD would be the way to go, just not sure how you would fit the rest of the players round it.
-
Does feel like the sort of game where a later kick off would suit us more than them. Even so, I think this is a great chance to beat them, we'll be up for it after yesterday, and they will be worried about coming up here needing to win to stay in touch with Liverpool and City.
-
From where I was sitting it looked pretty awful but it was the other end of the pitch. I said immediately to the bloke next to me, is that not a red? Very relieved it wasn't tbh, I thought we got the better of the decision yesterday.

The thought of playing Dan Burn or Kelly at LB now seems utterly ridiculous. Hindsight-tastic obviously, but this lad is such a good footballer, and he's absolutely bursting with confidence right now.
