Isak has looked lively today at any rate.

Their front 3 are pulling us all over the place.

Feels like we are just crossing our fingers and hoping things drop our way.

It was great football leading up to the goal.

What I need to see today is the front three clicking. Gordon/Barnes on the left and Isak as the front man is top tier. Just not seen either Gordon or Barnes look particularly happy playing on the right, and the alternatives of Miggy or Murphy are not impact players and that means teams only have to worry about stopping isak and Gordon/Barnes.

The only way Howe gets sacked by then is if two things happen: 1. We have a car crash of season leading up to Christmas, which there has never been any suggestion of happening. 2. Mitchell feels he can't work with Howe and the board are adamant that they want to follow Mitchell's blueprint. In reality it is all just panic stricken fear mongering based on not that much at this stage.

You keep saying this, and it would be fine if we had been winning the games against the easier teams.

Depends on what our respective fixtures have looked like. Feels to me like we've dropped too many points against poor to middling sides. But I guess if we win away to Chelsea that cancels out at least one of those bad results and gets us right back on track.

He wouldn't get a game under Howe until he was at least 19.

But no one is arguing PIF have never made mistakes, you are just going off on a tangent on an irrelevant position. And again you are using examples like Man City and Levy as aggressive go-getters while ignoring that they didn't have the same legal obstacles thrown in front of them in building a trophy winning squad. ON the pitch which is always the real key to the treasure trove.

Don't abandon hope just yet. Could yet see a Brexit inspired campaign to get their manager deported before the second half of the season.

At this point we aren't going to get a fee for him anyway. Best scenario all round would be for him to be fit for a patch of games, and then score enough goals to win some crucial fixtures. He did that before once and we got into the CL.

That's why I think we go out in the cup, because it's more important. If we are going to get a result in the next two fixtures against Chelsea, I feel tomorrow is the far better bet. We are capable of getting a draw in either fixture, but don't think we'll win either, and we'll definitely go out on pens in the cup if we avoid the defeat.
