The thinking might be he will connect better with Wolt. Plenty of fans thought Murphy was our best player on Sunday but he needs a goal poacher to aim for, Woltemade is usually too deep for that.

Well he has been a highly rated keeper who did well for Arsenal and England at one point, and Howe must still think there's a good keeper in there. While there was no way you could drop Pope earlier in the season, you would make a case for starting him tomorrow then maybe let him have a run if he does well.

Yep. From what I could see Howe wasn't happy at all with the shift we put in. We can't make excuses for such lack of collective effort.

Hard disagree. Feels like the CL is giving us some much needed feeling of achievement in what has so far been a disappointing PL season. Let's keep the European dream alive and when the form turns in the PL, we can worry about next year's campaign then.
