Football is about money these days. For clubs, owners and players. Once you accept it, then not worth getting too wound up when players come and go on the back of it. That's just the way the world is set up to work these days, otherwise why would we need corporate boxes at football grounds?

Let's be honest, the main purpose for the move was a massive pay rise. Joining a club which is already winning trophies year in year out would also have been a factor. I can't really hold that against him tbh, most players will do the same thing. But he could have been less of a cunt about it, I think that is what rankles with most people.

I can see Tonali and Joelinton coming back in, think Murphy might keep his place just on the back of the assist which set us on our way. Personally I thought Barnes looked better and should probably get the nod. It was a good cross by Murphy, but he'd already missed a couple before that when I thought he should have done better. Not going to complain if he starts though.

I find myself quite approving of Slot personally. In that I feel there's a chance he could turn Liverpool to shit given enough time.

Either that or testing the ban tolerance.
