Cheers mate. Sounds like you would prefer to keep him at Spurs.
-
Disappointed but they are no different to us, they need wins not draws. We won, they didn't.
-
Alli is a seriously talented player, but his work rate seems to be questioned by both Mourinho and now Conte. Yet he thrived under Poch who played pressing football where you would have thought lazy players would get found out. Would be interesting to hear a Spurs fan perspective but @leffe186 doesn't seem to post much these days.

That's more like it.
-
I've heard a few fans moaning about him sitting on the ground waving his arms around in protest instead of getting on with the game. Thing is, I want players who will protest penalty decisions, it shows they have a winner's mentality. Maybe he should have got up and got on with the game, but it was a terrible decision, he was fully justified in kicking up a fuss.

The window's not shut yet. Let's see where we are at the end of it, maybe Lukey Lu will be vindicated.
-
I think Douglas is ok tbh, if Luke enjoys being a WUM he can have at it. But he got slapped in the face by Staveley's takeover, then took the follow up from the backhand with Bruce's sacking. Now he just needs the elbow being brought down on his baldy napper.
-
I'm hoping that we were waiting to reach Saudi before announcing the BIG one tbh.
-
It's not chaotic, it's very difficult to sign players in January, doubly so if you are Saudi-backed Newcastle United. We have to throw a wide net for that very reason. If Luke wasn't such a cunt he'd recognise that.
-
Nailed it. I was just about ready to let it go, but the fucking prick can't resist aiming little digs at the ownership, and probably cheers every loss in secret.
-
Yes. I was sure we would be doing some good business in the final days of the window, now I'm a bit concerned, especially as he really seems to rate Shelvey.
-
That's his big story? Should have just went to bed after the second glass.
-
By the time he gets his head up, the moment to pass will already have gone.
-
Not going to lie, his championing of Shelvey and Fraser worries me, neither look physically capable of competing at the highest level, but I'm hoping he's just trying to get the best out of them until he can bring in replacements. I really hope he brings in some players over the next week to give a pointer to where we are going.
-
Honestly think Perez would have held the ball up better than him, and he wasn't a target man.
-
He's clearly trying to do the right things, positionally and graft-wise you couldn't fault him yesterday. He's just too slow to compete in that area of the pitch but that's not his fault. He still needs to be replaced, hopefully in this window. We desperately need some energy and bite in midfield.
-
That's about the only way to look at it. You have to hope he'll score a few goals which make a difference somewhere down the line. I'd play Gayle ahead of him tbh if it wasn't for his fitness issues.
-
Lascelles did fine while he was on, there seemed to be a really weird hate campaign going on against him and Willock in particular in the first half for some reason. Try watching the game back and see if it could be maybe reassessed.
-
Didn't take the court case into account actually. if he came here, he'd be found guilty 100%. Best leave that one.
-
Lol at that Big 6 offside VAR decision in favour of Man U as well btw. Could it be any more blatant?
-
He's 25. I don't know much about him, but if he's anywhere near half good, then would be a decent investment.
-
The guy caught him as he went past. Unless he was already diving (he wasn't) then legally there's no other decision you can give than a pen. Although I fully expect some cunt of a TV consultant ref to try to justify it in the next couple of days.
-
What about that cross for Wilson's goal for that first game at St James after the takeover?
-
As Nut pointed out though, we bought Wood for goals, and he does have a decent record. I just hope he's still got some juice left, he looks really lethargic.
