He's like the left sided version of Almiron, just with a better shot if he gets given a clear line to goal.
-
Don't think he got a single decent cross to attack in 45 mins.
-
Longstaff missing the ball
-
Tbf he's put in a lot more crosses than Barnes.
-
If you watch closely he's usually in the penalty area waiting for the cross which never arrives.
-
Tbf I'm struggling as well.
-
Think he's been comfortably the best player so far tbh.
-
Longstaff's first touch there bouncing about 10 yds
-
Both Barnes and Almiron aren't going to help there as they both cut inside into the traffic as well.
-
Longstaff playing Joelinton into a crowd of Bromlley players....
-
Looks embarrassingly bad when he's lined up next to Miley...who's been fantastic.
-
Almiron getting bossed by their full back so far.
-
There's goals here for us if we can show some quality in the final third. The game is more open than I thought it would be.
-
Absolute shite would be more accurate.
-
Sell him. If we can get £15m I don't mind taking a £5m loss.
-
Well that's a fair point.
-
Not seeing any option to switch coverage from the Arse/ManU game on BBC iplayer. Presumably that option only becomes available at kick off.
-
This basically. Joelinton needed a rest, and we spent £20m on Vlachyfella. Why not give him a game?
-
Woodman has already said he won't be coming here to entertain, his job will be to get a result. Considering he was part of the Steve Bruce fry up crew I think we can expect them to park the bus, and can't really blame them. Hopefully we'll have enough about us to give them a good battering anyway.

Yeah from all the noises coming out, we won't buy this window, but we should get some significant incomings in the summer.
-
Don't have a problem with City, the PL allowed them and Chelsea to do what they liked when it suited them. They didn't hide who they are, it's the PL that can't make it's mind up and decided ooh we better pull that ladder up now, the Saudis didn't buy Man U after all.
-
I was expecting him to score a few important goals this season before he got injured again, now it feels like so long ago, not even sure he's got anything left in the locker.
-
Perfect. 2 years of guaranteed mediocrity means they won't be any threat to us for a while.
-
Tbh with you, it's perfectly understandable Howe wants to keep as many players as he can, he's got to look at short term results as his job depends on them. It's Mitchell who should be making the hard nosed business decisions, and I don't see how it makes sense to give a contract extension to a 35 year old keeper if we want to free up money to buy a younger better version.

None of those were really big name talents at the time which is the criteria I used. If Arsenal had gone past mild interest in Bruno or Isak, do you really think they would be here? If Liverpool or Chelsea want Kvaratskhelia, then we won't get him IMO.
