Was going to post the same thing, he was flapping a lot tonight, the one where he kicked it instead of just dropping and taking it in his hands had me apopleptic. That said, it looks like he's gone, and he left with a clean sheet and putting us on the road to a final, so what a way to go.

It was a performance which makes me think we are on the verge of something really special here.

He was poor until we went 2-0, then he did at least put in a shift defensively.

Every game he plays just convinces me he's probably one of the three best midfielders in the Premier. Willock did the job tonight, but bring Bruno back into this midfield with the newfound understanding, and it's a frighteningly good midfield.

How do you put Schar back in that defence?

Feels like we've added the defensive steel to go with the all action attacking though. I thought earlier in the season we looked confused, but this is clearly what Howe was building towards.

He's become the complete manager. Takes some balls and tactical awareness to be able to sit back and defend without an outlet up front.

I used that as an indicator what a good judge of a player SBR was. He never had the slightest doubt Bellamy was a top player.

There was a lot of doubt about putting that much money down for him after he'd had a flop first season in the Premier. There were doubts if he was just a championship player, although I think he spent most of his time in the top flight playing on the wing in that first season back.

Just hope he doesn't freeze being back at his old stomping ground. Hopefully he'll make them regret letting him go instead.

Quite excited to see what the Willock, Tonali, Joelinton midfield looks like.

Tbf, if it's just Leicester and Chelsea, they might just decide to punish Leicester twice.
