Considers himself British, I believe.

Will definitely be interesting to see what happens. If Krul doesn't make any major mistakes before Harper gets back you really can't drop him, as others have said it sends a terrible message.
-
Be a much better world if Celtic and Rangers just ceased to exist overnight. Two buckets of scum football clubs who bring nothing positive to the game, fucking hate everything about the 'Old Firm'.

Someone in the Seoul municipal government decided several years ago that the City would look nicer if we got rid of all the rubbish bins. Eventually people realized that it was a terrible idea and started putting some back. Still not enough though. Said person has now moved up to a bigger job, btw. Guess who. Is it that President that nobody likes?

Seen a couple of Celtic shirts since I've been in Korea tbh, some Koreans were kicking a ball around in a park I was in and they had them on. The amount of focus on Park and Lee is a bit mad here I must say, couple of times I've been in a restaurant or pub and there's been highlights of just those two players being played on a loop on the TV. Was class before the Sunderland game, they had a highlights package for Park from a recent game. Loads of clips of him scuffing shots wide or losing the ball. Most people here that I've met don't really seem to care or know much about the Premiership at all tbh, certainly in the case of my students anyway. They all seem to like football but you never see them in jerseys and they generally look blankly at me when I try to talk to them about recent games and the like. (yes Tooj, they can understand me just fine btw.) Oldtype, what's the logic behind there being no rubbish bins in Korea btw?

Glenn Roeder thinks that Glenn Roeder doesn't like the above comments about Glenn Roeder.

You'd really rest the CB's though? Possibly one of the best runs of form we've seen from a NUFC CB tandem in years and you want to go and split them up for the next couple of games? The midfielders and strikers I can see some argument for (only if they're absolutely knackered though, which I still doubt) because there's a lot more running involved, but how often do teams rest CB's due to fatigue? We also don't have any more midweek matches after this one until the Christmas break, no way we should be getting horribly fatigued unless there's something drastically wrong with our fitness regime. If there were games in midweek all the time then of course you'd have a point. But there aren't, so you don't.

Anyone tries to turn Carroll's head and they'll get fucking decked, to be honest.
-
By the way, when I saw these two posts in a row... I burst out laughing at the thought that the next post would be Dave saying "What a wonderful debate." Alas, it was not to be.
-
Not sure which of those is worse.

Nolan is the only one I can imagine might be struggling with his fitness. But unless he's absolutely knackered then you start him. Barton and Jonas have always had tremendous engines, saw nothing on Sunday to make me think there might be an issue with either of them. Shola only started to actually get into the starting XI a couple of weeks ago, he should be grand as well. If there's somebody on the team that you don't think can go for 60 minutes then you make some changes, yeah, but I really doubt that's the case. The idea of resting CB's is so ridiculous I have to assume Apisith was on the wind-up.

Apisith... http://i583.photobucket.com/albums/ss274/Darkraven909/Not_sure_if_serious.jpg

He's great in that he's very, very reliable. Never going to be a liability to you, he'll work hard and put in his shift defensively and never stop looking to get involved. Love the way we play these days, every last man on the pitch gives his all. Been a while since we had that, it's great having a team you can be proud of out there. Would love to see what this XI could do with a Bellamyesque sort of striker on the pitch instead of Shola. Harsh on Shola to say because he's been good, but someone with that touch of real class and pace playing off Carroll would cause all sorts of problems in this team.
-
Anyone suggesting that we change the starting XI is a cunt, quite frankly.
-
Fantastic save, Harper wouldn't have gotten near that. Be very interesting to see what happens if he keeps playing like this, could you really drop him when Harper gets back?
-
Fucking awesome. Heroes, the lot of them.

How did you feel about the move Wullie? Can't remember you saying anything at the time.
-
Love how he complains about how low class a move it was, and then says he hopes to do the same to us in return. Stupid melted Halloween mask face on him, he can fuck off.
-
Pisses me off to this day. Luckily N'Zogbia turned out to be a complete tosser so it's a bit more bareable, but signing Duff was a fucking travesty of a move.

I'm not that arsed about how we fare against the likes of Arsenal, Man United and Chelsea tbh. Just go out there and have a go and see what happens, any points we get are a bonus. But we need to start beating the lesser teams in the league, and I really think we'll do quite well with this system. It's basically three big lads up top and a very solid 3 man engine room behind them, we'll cause some problems to most sides with that.

I kno what you mean about Jonas, I've always supported his inclusion in the team, but I meant more so in terms of being a threat in terms of assists and putting in good crosses. Point is I think he'll do well now that he's playing a little bit more of a box-to-box role and not being asked to be as much of a tradiotional winger. The thing that the system does need though if full backs who can get forward and get in crosses from wide areas. Need to have a great engine for it and a bit of quality to put in crosses when necesssary. Enrique I'm confident can do it, our selection of RB's I'm not so sure about. Simpson did put in a cracking ball against Sunderland, hopefully that can become a habit.

Or we could ship in and pay for him to have some ribs removed so he can bend over and put his penis in his mouth and piss directly into it.

Don't think there's any question whatsoever over where the title is going tbh, if anyone manages to finish within 10 points of Chelsea I'll be surprised. As for us, I'd be disappointed with 17th place tbh. No reason we shouldn't do better, but a few injuries to the wrong players and that could all change, so I guess I'd take it as another relegation would be a right bastard to deal with.
