  1. I mean, why the fuck are they letting Lee Charnley do anything?
  2. Always thought he looked like a vampire, would be pleased to get him in.
  3. Your attitude towards him from your first response was pretty hostile, it's not particularly helpful to creating any sort of worthwhile discussion.
  4. Ten Hag would be an absolute dream. Might be worth putting together a dossier?!
  5. Is there any suggestion that they'll sack him? Seems a crazy notion.
  6. My vote is for Dan Campbell. PAFM https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=Ng8TV6buqqM
  7. Aye, completely checked out when Rafa left. Feel like I'd have hated him so much if I'd been paying attention and I definitely think he's a slimy cretin who doesn't give a shit about NUFC... I mostly find him funny though. Just the absolute state of him.
  8. This is all very lovely. Gonna be great having someone who doesn't look like an aborted Orc standing on the sideline.
  9. Yeah, very much in favour of getting in a manager who's going to play attacking football. Bring in some exciting young talent, make football fun for NUFC fans again. In a couple of years when we've built a really strong squad we might have to look at Howe or Fonseca or whoever and assess if they have what it takes to actually push on and win things, maybe at that point someone a bit more defensively adept might be the way to go. We don't have to hire our manager for the next decade right now.
  10. Maybe we're prolonging it just to fuck with him? Fat mess probably has £8m worth of kebabs at the checkout on Just Eat and is just refreshing the thread frantically waiting for the payoff.
  11. Jesus Mike. This must be what it feels like when a family member gets into QAnon or some shit. We've lost him, lads.
  12. I don't really know enough about any of the candidates but Fonseca sounds like he could be fun with his attacking style. Get him in, buy a few promising young players and just go all out attack, fuck it
  13. Had completely forgotten I was on the front page of that Pardew out newspaper thing Some amount of shite the last 14 years, fuck.
  14. It won't, but he should just be gone. It's like we've just got out of a long term abusive relationship and are throwing a party to celebrate. It's great, wonderful. Yet for some reason our ex's stupid fucking sister who was living there for some reason and always treated you like shit too is still living in the house so she'll be there too, pissing and moaning about how she has to find a new place now and how it's all been so hard on her. Fuck off, Sharon. And stop eating so many macaroons you know full well there are only a couple per person and you've had at least 5 now you cunt.
  15. Really shit decision not to get rid before Sunday. There's absolutely no way the guy adds anything positive to the team's preparation and now it's an unnecessary cloud of negativity hanging over what should be a completely joyous day. Shouldn't matter long term, all this season is about is making sure we stay up and find the right DOF and manager to lead us into next summer. Should be easily done so no panic but not great to see the new owners make such a shit decision almost immediately
  16. Looks like he's wandered into a salad bar and is looking sadly up at the menu.
  17. God it'll be depressing if he's there on Sunday. Will legitimately be the first game I've watched since Rafa left, really excited to feel the atmosphere in SJP, the new beginning after a truly horrible decade. Probably won't massively matter long term but Steve Bruce just represents so much of what we're trying to leave behind us. Feels like Sunday could be a day we remember for years to come and I don't want the guy to be part of it, simple as that.
  18. It'll be such a dampener on Sunday if this fuckslug is still in the dugout. I can't believe for a second that he adds anything positive to the preparation for the game, just get rid of him and put a caretaker in charge. Figure it out from there.
  19. I teach a Saudi woman who's really into football. Asked her if she thought many people would stop supporting their teams and just change to being Newcastle fans, she reckons pretty much everyone there will. Definitely a big deal for them. I'm happy about the takeover, football is too utterly fucked for me to ever care about it even half as much I used to but it'll be nice to support a team that tries to win things.
  20. This seems the way to go, not sure who but someone who'll come in and give the place a bit of a lift and get them playing good football. And stay up, of course
  21. Must have thought this wasn't gonna happen or surely he'd have held off. Everton is a pretty great spot too for him tbf given his family and all that.
  22. Yeah, really the only question for me should be whether they'll hire someone short term to get us through the season and then get their man in or if they want to make the long term appointment now. God I really wish Rafa had held on. Would love to know how he feels right now, he must wonder about what could have been.
  23. Surely the PL came away from it feeling like this whole thing wasn't gonna go their way and made the agreement to let it through if they sorted the BEIN thing? Don't think the timing is coincidental.
