    Michael Owen

I'm still not convinced he'll go. Not for any good, heartfelt reasons... but cos we'll probably get taken over by a rich man who offers him £140k p/week. Unconvinced he'll get that anywhere else.

    UEFA Cup 08/09

is it just me or does it feel like this City game has been on for about 13 hours?
  7. Was never a red car to be fair. I disagree. Since when has a full and deliberate rugby tackle on someone running past you an into a good position not a red card, regardless of covering defenders? It was the cynical nature of the challange that makes it a red for me. Well, cynical it is, but the law dictates its still a yellow as he wasn't last man. Should be a red, isn't. Recinded as it should well be.

    If...

I'd just assume it as typical NUFC and get on with my day. Until Terry Mac waltzes back in the door. Football will die on that very day.
  9. Warner telling it as it really is then. I've decided to boycoutt all Sunderland games from now on (except when they play Newcastle) FYP
  10. Do you not think the signings we've made have been more indicitive of who the future manager may well be?
  11. Some random foreigner I've never heard of.
  12. this was like 20 posts ago, but hey... I agree that whoever takes on the role will be more of a coach than a manager, but I'm happy with that. The problem in my opinion is simply that the board and the manager need to talk, be fully aware of each others roles etc Quite obviously this is something neither Mike or Kevin achieved, leaving a massively sour taste.
  13. I've not 100% decided that at all. I'm fully ready to wave goodbye to Kev and welcome a more continental approach. Taking Keegan back was always a mistake in my opinion. Motivational, yeah fine.. but tactical? suspect. I just think the behind the scenes set-up is a lot more professional, a lot more how a club should be run nowadays. Old Skool Kev can't seem to accept that, so perhaps its best they parted ways.
  14. forgive me if im wrong, but since this amazing trio of wise etc came in - all our signings have been quite decent and shrewd. And not Luque. If we can get another (foreign) manager who is fine with the system in place, I'm happy. Sorry kev.
  15. Seriously, someone pretty fucking-a better take over
