  1. Where was the bloody tracking back? Dear me.
  2. It's clear as day that the consortium will want Bruce binned off soon and this press conference "performance" will certainly solidify that view. When he does get given his marching orders, I have no doubt that he'll quickly become yesterday's news and the mainstream media won't give a fuck about him anymore and move on to the next story worth reporting.
  3. An undignified cunt as ever wor Steve.
  4. Come to think of it, what with new owners, has Craig Hope's ban been lifted? If so and Bruce does end up speaking to the media tomorrow, I hope Craig gets the opportunity to have a go at Bruce and destroy him.
  5. Still have to keep up with media obligations I suppose as we can't postpone things forever. 24 hours left to get him binned off before Sunday's game.
  6. Bruce will probably get officially "summoned" later on to St James' or wherever a temporary office has been set up to be told of his dismissal (here's hoping anyway).
  7. Fuck off cunt. Never come back to Newcastle.
  8. This is exactly how I feel at the moment (well apart from painting black stripes on a house in Leeds ). Well summed up.
  9. I've been trying to watch an episode of Squid Game for the past hour, I keep pausing it every 5 minutes to go back to this thread!
  10. My plan was to stay calm on today's development but that's a no goer now Fuck me, I'm well nervous.

    Joe Willock

Officially confirmed. Not available for West Ham.
  12. Even then though, what logical reason is there for any sort of support for Bruce? Can understand a positive reception for the players / the team and being back at St James' Park but giving Bruce some love in is not at all acceptable.
  13. This is the primary reason why I have little to no respect to Mark Douglas as well, they're all happy to toe the line as long as they get to speak to the club. Need more Craig Hopes in our lives.

    Transfer rumours

If 14 years of Mike Ashley is having no effect on them, they've got no hope.
  15. Good thing that fans are (as it stands, that is) allowed back into stadiums. It'll mean that live TV coverage will be minimal and I won't find myself succumbing to temptation/curiosity and watch matches.
  16. Absolutely crucial that Jones remains part of the England coaching setup for next year's World Cup - Southgate needs that additional opinion/influence to balance out his conservative tactics. My overall feeling is Southgate is still the one for the job as his way of thinking is more suited to a tournament format rather than a club setting. This England team has done us proud this summer and you can't dismiss the good Southgate has done (managing the media well, getting that team spirit up and galvanising his players and the country); no-one is perfect though so some criticism does need to land at Southgate's door (namely the lack of any attacking nous in the second half and basically offering Italy to attack us). There are positives and negatives to take from this but ultimately, the main negative came at the wrong time. You'd hope we analyse what's gone right (and build on it) and what's gone wrong (and rectify it) and we'll be properly prepare for next year's World Cup.
  17. A taller keeper/someone with a longer reach would have saved that.
  18. It'll probably be the case that we'll win tomorrow but then lose to Sweden in the quarter finals with Krafth scoring the winner
  19. As long as he doesn't talk about us, Richards is sound
