This was me last season so looks like the same again for the coming season. While I'm disappointed to have not got a season ticket, the fallback of membership isn't a bad thing at all.

He was still implying that the lack of "a Mané" is the reason for his low tally of assists/goals. While he didn't directly criticise the players around them, the sentiment was there. If Howe and the squad are happy to put all of this behind them and move on, then all good. ASM will need to word his answers better going forward in interviews mind.

It's quite a long interview with ASM but I've read the part which brought about his comments. It got pointed out to ASM that the stats say he's had the most successful dribbles this season of all the top 5 European leagues which hasn't quite equated to assists or goals in his name, ASM basically replied with the comments we know. I sort of get why he's saying it (like a defence mechanism) but as has been pointed out by most on here, he shouldn't be saying it in public.

Just had a read of the So Foot Magazine website, there's only an extract of the article in question (the full one will be out tomorrow when said magazine goes on sale) but the quotes, when translated into English, haven't been misinterpreted.

Absolutely fantastic day and an accomplished performance (Alnwick's plan was to defend in numbers and counter attack but didn't really come off). Delighted for the lasses and the attendance.

This will be my 4th visit to the Etihad and I've seen us lose there every time, fully expect the losing run to continue unfortunately. Decent beers in Manchester at least.
