  1. FAO all those advocating selling Saint- Maximin...howay man. He is frustrating as fuck, I'll say that, but the man is a game changer on his day. He'll still need a bit more time to adapt to Howe's ethos but I have confidence he'll get there in time (and once he does, my god, what a player we'll see).
  2. It'll probably be the acceptance that we're basically safe but not too disheartened by today...of course there's a lot of work to do before we can really compete with the top 6 but what I was pleased about today was the fighting spirit - up until the final whistle, I really did feel that we could nick something (which in contrast to the Bruce era is something, we'd have lost 5-0 easily with that cabbage in the dugout).
  3. Same loophole as Anthony Taylor "supporting" Altrincham, Dean supports Tranmere.
  4. Not that account specifically but Le Parisien is the equivalent of The Chronicle.
  5. Just means that I'll be staying over at my parents so that I can get to the match on Monday (my original plan was to only come up for the day on the Sunday). Can have a relaxed day on Sunday now at least! EDIT: (had changed my plans to only come up on the Sunday once that day had been confirmed).
  6. All my worrying over nothing
  7. Showering there afterwards might work actually. Home is Slatyford so quite a distance.
  8. 12pm-1pm on the Sunday might be cutting it a bit too fine for me unfortunately (in terms of having enough time to get home after the game and then back out into town in time for the Newcastle match). Can do Saturday at any time. (EDIT: if Newcastle get selected for TV and kick off gets changed to half 4 or later on the Sunday, I'll be sound for 12-1).
  9. Yep, can do that day (Hopefully there'll be no change to the kick off time for the Arsenal match as I'm planning on going).
  10. St James' confirmed, 1st May, a day after the men's game against Liverpool there.

Even if West Brom get to the playoffs this season, don't think they'll get better of any of the teams in there at the moment. Bruce will fail with West Brom next season (ie. not make the playoffs at the very least), get sacked and then we won't hear about him being a football manager ever again.
  12. I recommend either the Brotherhood or Box in Manchester city centre - they're sports bars.
  13. https://www.nufc.co.uk/news/latest-news/two-more-games-moved-for-tv-palace-date-confirmed/ "Two more of Newcastle United’s Premier League games in April have been selected for live television coverage, while a new date for the Magpies’ postponed fixture against Crystal Palace has also been confirmed. Leicester City’s visit to St. James’ Park, originally scheduled for Saturday, 16th April at 3pm, will now take place on Sunday, 17th April (Easter Sunday), with kick-off at 2.15pm. The game will be shown live on Sky Sports. Three days later, on Wednesday, 20th April, the Magpies will welcome Palace to Tyneside for a 7.45pm kick-off. That game was meant to take place this Saturday but has been put back following the Eagles’ progression to the quarter-finals of the FA Cup. After a trip to Norwich City on Saturday, 23rd April (a game which will be played in its original time-slot), Eddie Howe’s side round off a busy month at home to Liverpool on Saturday, 30th April. Kick-off for the Reds’ visit has been brought forward to 12.30pm and BT will be broadcasting live. The Magpies will then have three games left to play before the campaign comes to a close – trips to Manchester City and Burnley, and Arsenal’s visit to St. James’ Park in between."
  14. Just arrived in London, can't wait for tomorrow! First proper away match for 3 and a half years.

Honestly don't think there's a bigger cunt in football atm than Bruce. Of course, other cuntish managers exist but Bruce just eclipses everyone imo, shows no loyalty to anyone but himself.
  16. Been thinking about it a bit recently and given my attendance to matches this season and the new hope all things NUFC, think I'm going to try for a season ticket this summer. Going to be absolute mayhem when they go on general sale mind so think I'll take a day off work to ensure I don't miss out!
  17. For me, as soon as we got taken over and Mike Ashley fucked off, that was the first step of the healing process. Then, when Bruce got sacked, that was essentially the final step of the healing. I am well and truly fully back in, so much so that I've been doing commutes from Manchester midweek and in the weekend so that I can be at St James' Park for home matches (it certainly helps that I trust Howe so much too). My optimism in the team is back and it's just so good to feel something again. Strong 0 for me but for the purposes of the poll, it's a 1.
  18. I'm as confident for this as I was for the Everton match. Feel a win is coming (but wouldn't be averse to a draw at the same time).
  19. Feeling confident for this like (though this may be based on how excited I am for the match, sitting in the Gallowgate, howay!)
  20. Can see this going the same way as Allardyce's and Pardew's time at West Brom: unsurprising failure.
  21. Zapata link pretty much dismissed on Sky.
  22. My mate's having a right meltdown about Lewis' impending omission...to the point that he now has a massive hatred of Targett.

    Was an absolute glorious header.
