  1. Certainly. The less room he had to manoeuvre with, the better we seemed to do. That Tottenham away win for example, I seem to remember we were down to the bare bones. The team that day: Given, Ramage, Taylor, Huntington, Pattison, Solano, Butt, Milner, Dyer, Martins, Sibierski. (Subs Not Used: Harper, Edgar, O'Brien, Carroll, Troisi). That defence Who the hell's Huntington? http://newsimg.bbc.co.uk/media/images/42449000/jpg/_42449573_ab8.jpg He scored that day btw.

    Arsene Wenger

28?! Didn't realise this, thought he was 25!
  3. He's a right winger according to the sites I looked at yesterday. Looks like it. In his actual interview, he doesn't really give much away about his ability. He says that he wants to improve his technique (achieving "technical ease"). His role models are Zidane and Messi.
  4. Well, looks like Douglas was right about something! Thinking about it, even though I know f*** all about Mariappa, I guess he would be a decent signing really. Firstly, he's a CB and it is a position we really need reinforcements in; secondly, the Watford fans seem to rate him very highly and finally I trust our scouts to have watched him extensively and have thus made an informed judgement on the lad's ability. If the price is reasonable (£2 million max), then I'm all for this transfer.

    Sunderland...

Honestly, from what I've seen, the mackems haven't really played that well recently. All credit to Martin O'Neill for getting the team's confidence up/getting them back to winning ways and all that but from what I've seen of them, can see us just about winning against them. It'll more than likely be a tough game but simply saying that we'll lose, howay man! Quite an attitude there, have some faith please. (Plus, we're at St. James').

Well, I didn't expect that tbh (well at this point of the season anyway). I expected him to make some sort of decision this summer regarding his future....not now.....

    Harry Redknapp

The mackems could very take Pavlychenko tbh.
  9. Just seen the stamp. Yeah, it was definitely intentional.
  10. Now this I like. I don't I prefer a strip with more stripes......

  12. Just read said interview. Doesn't really give much away. The Guingamp fans seem to rate him like.

  15. Really? When it comes to injuries I seem to have it in my head that they were a blessing at times. Got memories of us doing well quite often when we had so many injuries that Roeder didn't really pick the team, as it picked itself. The emergence of David Edgar, Paul Huntington and Matty Pattison ()
  16. He played upfront in that game. Was 2 diff thoughts, but sure OK...my mistake? Regardless, he was brilliant that night Indeed he was.
  17. He played upfront in that game.
