  1. Absolutely agree with that.
  2. Well only geordiemonster and Ethi.
  3. Someone is going to leave in Jan, I see negative Tiote as being far preferable to Collocini, Krul or Ba (although it's not beyond the realms of possibilities that one or more of those might go as well). The £25m WILL be invested in new players, we'll get 2 "free" transfers and give them 4 year contracts at 40k a week and then when you take into account agents fees, that's all the money gone. Free transfers are this years expensive transfers...at least at Newcastle anyway. CoLoccini tbh. I don't think Collocini will leave simply because we will be utterly up s*** creek if he does and surely even Ashley can see that. I'm confident Coloccini won't leave, I was just pointing out his name is spelt as Coloccini, not Collocini.

    Hatem Ben Arfa

Can't be a real quote surely?

It's more about keeping all the available options open really. I'm sure Ben Arfa will thrive in the number 10 role but it's still restricting to say that the lad is only that especially when he has played and thrived on the wing in the past. Our wingers are misfiring atm so we should adding Ben Arfa into the mix gives us another option.
  7. Pretty much this. The sooner Williamson is back in the starting line up, the better.

Reassess Pardew, please reassess your view.
  9. Hopefully he is learning that he can't just rely on average players because they overachieved at the start of the season. I hope so. I'm confident Pardew can turn it around. He has shown in the past that he can learn from his mistakes so hopefully he'll work on his tactics accordingly.

Agreed. Colo and Williamson already have an understanding from playing with each other week in, week out last season - this can only benefit our defence.
  11. I'd definitely start Williamson against Bolton. He already has an understanding with Colo so that can only help the defence imo.
  12. Honestly, you couldn't sound more like us in a lot of our games. Have the players available to play pretty good football, but nope, hoof hoof hoof. Was Cabaye a big miss tonight or was it something deeper? cabaye was a huge miss. We missed his workrate, passing and vision. Vuckic was a plus point tonight but he's no Cabaye. I'm sure that if we had Yohan, we wouldn't have resorted to hoofball tactics.
  13. It was a really good performance. A total, total change from the recent embarassments N'Zogbia had a blinder, and Albrighton is finding more form. If we'd had Bent playing, we'd have done better. Fair enough

Yeah, his confidence is very low atm. Still think he just needs one goal to set him off again....
  15. Anyone else not care that much about MOTD being on atm?
