  1. Jonas and Sylvain should change flanks there and it looks decent...almost our best except HBA and Barton
  2. That's what the Sunday Sun article says. It's irrelevant whether it says we need to "sell to fund", because we don't know how much the cost of the striker and fullback would be. Cheap as cheesy chips as the Mackems would say as the agents cost more than the transfer fees according to Pardew . In the case of free transfers, I think that's pretty obvious. Fuck no...it's around 1 million for Ba as a signing fee for the player and agent together! 2 max
  3. Why Pardew is still trying to sign this Turkish Erdinc when he clearly does not want to join us? Or is it just agent talking bs and after a bigger payday?
  4. To be fair, he's 20 in a couple of weeks. Hmm...19
  5. Probably crap unless the deal for Tiote to Chelsea isn't done already!
  6. Who said we were not? Ashley just thought he's not worth the money! Exactly how much did they pay in signing fees and wages if we really need to sell before buy? Or what they did with the youth facilities and training ground if it's all gone now?

Did anyone from the first team play? Kadar?
  8. Same here...I've got mine already I have high hopes for the lad indeed
  9. You can definitely make some sort of a judgement of a players ability just by watching him train not to mention playing a game. However playing out of his natural position could have a major impact on his performance(especially right footed players playing out wide left...like Jonas) until he is used to it. All of our young guns are training with the first team, right? It's the same thing with Kadar I guess...Vuckic has been out injured for long periods and he hasn't been able to train with the first team which is certainly different compared to the youths. He's still a young lad and we have enough time for him. Do you really expect an 18 years old foreign player to be ready for the big stage quite yet? I think loaning him out to a level like League One team would be perfect...his potential and technical ability should be better than most at that level but physically he's not ready and few months out there would do him miracles I guess. Same goes with Kadar but Championship would be his level.
  10. Everything Ashley has done for the last 2 years are pointing towards the fact he wants to get rid of the club. Financially we should be an interesting target for investors again as the wage bill is under control. However I just can't see any sort of a takeover happening because Ashley's asking price would be too high and he would require the loan(150million) to be paid with the purchase I believe. Not sure if I'd want Citeh sort of thing to happen anyway. Investing to youth is way much more reasonable way to go than just buy the best...
  11. The same club that have bid £40 million for Neymar? Yep...the same fee which is his release clause
  12. http://www.cleansheetsallround.co.uk/wp-content/uploads/Luque-Newcastle1.jpg Hmmmm...Luque was excellent piece of business compared to the one below... http://t1.gstatic.com/images?q=tbn:ANd9GcQgvRGcnJEpc0Vjo8CBve5aCZtxLPeuuUxor6_7ijMqIERldp1DGA
  13. Smith won't go voluntarily as he's making so much money with the current contract! If we want to get rid of him it requires Ashley to offer him some sort of a release fee such as half of the remaining contract in cash up front and I guess Smith will agree...it's common procedure and would help both sides financially. Like either side would really need the help anyway
  14. Interesting to see if Ashley's going to spend any of the transfer income created by the sale of Carroll? We have signed 3 free agents so far and sold Nolan for around 4 million. Nothing against MA's way of dealing with the transfers and turning us a selling club as long as it benefits the club but surely there should be some real actions to be done if his aim is to reach the european places again. Can't see it happening at this pace for like the next 10 years! No doubt the finances will be very fine by that time
  15. Hmmm...what about the defence? Apart from Colo and Jose our defence just isn't up to standard of a decent Premier League defence IMO. A pacy striker should be a priority closely followed by a good all a round defender
  16. Just like I did when we sold Parker...hopefully he's coming back
  17. And I thought West Ham had bad memories about fat players with bad fitness levels? Does one Benni McCarthy ring any bells? Or is it just Allardyce whose tactics are so organised that the players don't even need to run? TBH...I'm not that disappointed because Nolan didn't offers that much. He's just a guy who happens to be in the right place at the right time to score goals but that's a strikers job not a midfield players

  19. Barca-like. Hodgson like...I hate his tactics away from home! Don't even want to win and always did exactly the same with Finland national team
  20. This was my first thought. Striker or two is surely a priority?? Hmmm...We've got Ameobis already do we really need anybody else?
  21. In which case why would we agree a fee with his club? It´s Mike Ashley we´re talking about Ashley's the one who's a cheap bastard here and probably be the last person to pay anything when it's unnecessary! Just think about if it's Freddy...the club would be doen and dusted already!
  22. Can't be out of contract as a fee doesn't need to be agreed in that case and Pardew said it's agreed! I have high hopes but probably will be bitterly disappointed in the end...
  23. In case we win and both Stoke and Bolton won't...we get about 2,5 million more in prize money for final position as we climb up to 9th place or is it even better this season as those figures are from the last season?
