I don't think it's the wages his stalling at. It's the length of the contract. That's what I've read... Like there's such a big difference is it 2 or 3 years?

If the rumours are true that he's on a 50K/week now and Pards named him pretty much the most important player of the team...that 50K must be Ashley's wage ceiling. No wonder if Barton is stalling with the contract if he's being offered half of the wages his getting at the moment!

I'm pretty sure Krul would have saved that shot but Harper has done pretty good otherwise so I'm not blaming him! Sturridge has some great potential it seems. Easily the best player for Bolton and MOM I think.(followed by Tiote) Raylor surely did Barton's job but he certainly didn't need to go that hard for the tackle. Unlucky to get sent off considering De Jong didn't even get carded for his against HBA. It was the general manner of the tackle...fucking 2 footed jump which is always stupid as you can't control it It's pretty interesting that people didn't like Parker's running in circles when he was here as it's pretty much the same with Tiote now. Parker was a great player but noone liked him. I don't think Tiote is that much better but everyone loves him...

Not much point about arguing who should be starting and who shouldn't as our striking force is about the worst in the league at the moment! If anything I think we shouldn't start 4-4-2 and waste 2 spots of of line-up for nothing...

I very much doubt that 1st point. Hughton hardly started ranger in the championship. Maybe so but Ranger was 18 years old back then...and at the start of the season Ranger was ahead of Best in the pecking order

Ranger would be starting every game if it was Hughton in charge...Pardew brought up this so called "attitude problem". I haven't seen the matches where Ranger had a start but from the games I've seen he offers so much more than the currently starting duo of Loven & Best who would struggle to make an impact even at League 2

Lovenkrands Another match where I'd prefer Kuqi over Loven...Perfect match for Kuqi's style while Lovenkrands would need a target man to partner him up front as he can't do anyhting by himself and Best certainly isn't th type of a striker who would create chances for others

If only there were still players who actually like to play and challenge themselves instead of only thinking about money. We can offer him a regular spot in the line-up which I doubt the ones above can but most probably he'll end up warming the bench and doing routine daily training sessions somewhere around London...just another wasted talent

I said it before Roy moved to Liverpool that he's best with teams whose strenght is at defence and Liverpool wasn't such team but WBA is even less like that! Roy did great with Finland international team and Fulham where were players like Hyypiä, Tihinen, Hangeland etc. and they weren't expected to win more that lose. WBA fans will hate Roy from the day one for playing such shitty defence minded style(compared to Di Matteo). Can't really blame them as I couldn't watch his teams playing either although he did get some good results with Finland

He always does...I love his attitude and you'll never see him jogging around the pitch looking totally disinterested a la Shola style! He's a model professional indeed and it will be shown. I guess Kuqi's payment is food and water, so I really they spash some cash to sign Ewerthon up. We need pace upfront. If we get him, Kuqi's arrival will be just just funny.. Kuqi's previous team wanted to keep him but couldn't afford his wage demand

Fuck me....we really are desperate! Kuqi might be immobile but who does need pace when you can run through the defender(or a brick wall)? I've been waiting to see a Finnish player in the bacl & white shirt but this is not exactly what I'd expected

About half a year ago I guess Conor Wickham was hyped even more than Carroll! I wouldn't call that 10 million such a huge gamble anyway as I think a club willing to pay this amount is able to get it back even if he does fail to live up to the hype. Just think about that Carroll wasn't good enough for Preston like couple of seasons ago...

Based on Carroll valuation/reputation...Tiote's price should be somewhere near 40million now! Too bad he isn't English though(would double it)
