Wasn't Brighton gonna support Cabaye at the hearing? -

Would have preferred Santon instead of Loven... -
He was a great player and seemed sympatic both on and off the pitch, liked by everyone. I honestly still don't get it... R.I.P :'(

In the stomach and his shoulder apparantly... dunno why his arm is taped My favourite part of the story is that the Danish FA tried to bribe the victim with a signed Bendtner shirt - and it actually worked until the Danish FA made a public announcement where talked s**** about the victim and he went to the press with the full story. Classy as f***! Agree, not to mention that Bendtner knocked on his door and when the victim opened the door, Bendtner asked "Do we have a problem" before kicking him...

What did Agger do? The Danish team was allowed to have a party at their hotel after the win against Sweden and according to the Danish medias it got out of hand. Agger apparantly knocked on the victims door at 3 am and they had an argument but nothing else happened. 15 minutes later Bendtner knocked on the door and kicked the victim twice. The Danish FA and the victim made an agreement not to tell the press anything, but the Danish FA spoke to the press the next day and then it became public. Just received this today http://img403.imageshack.us/img403/9210/benarentoft.jpg Uploaded with ImageShack.us Preben Arentoft (born November 1, 1942) is a Danish former football player who played in the midfielder position. He played professionally for a number of clubs, most notably Newcastle United and Blackburn Rovers. He played nine games for the Denmark national football team. Born in Copenhagen, Arentoft started playing football with Copenhagen club Brønshøj Boldklub. He made his Danish national team debut in June 1965, and played four national team games while at Brønshøj. He moved abroad to play professionally for Scottish club Greenock Morton. Due to the Danish rules of amateurism, he was no longer eligible for the Danish national team. In 1969, Arentoft moved to England to play for Newcastle United. He played for Newcastle until 1971, earning the nickname Benny. He made a total of 63 appearances for the club, scoring 3 goals. He helped Newcastle win the Inter-Cities Fairs Cup in 1969, scoring in the second leg of the final. He is also remembered for having to play in goal during a 5-1 win over Manchester United in 1970, coming on for an injured Willie McFaul. When the Danish rule of amateurism was abolished in 1971, Arentoft played a further five Danish national team games, representing Newcastle. In 1971, he moved on to English club Blackburn Rovers, before ending his career with Helsingborgs IF in Sweden.

Decent 1st half and awful 2nd half. Didn't get Pardews substitutions today? Why Lovenkrands when we were under so much pressure and how could Obertan finish that game? -

http://www.roverstalk.com/viewtopic.php?f=2&t=3938&start=210#p129743 theo, have you compared Newcastle's starting line up to ours? I would only take one of their players, perhaps two at a push. We also had a big mental advantage going into this game given our previous good form at St James'. This was certainly a game we could have achieved a point in. Instead we rolled over and got dicked by a side which struggles to score. Normal service is resumed for Kean - had he produced something today I would perhaps have started to back him, however, last week's victory was merely a poisoned chalice. :fool:

West Ham agree fee in region of £15m with Liverpool for Andy Carroll
nufcmichael replied to Pilko's topic in Football
I doubt Ashley would pay Carroll anywhere near £80k a week and therefore I don't see Carroll returning anytime soon. He left because we didn't want to pay him enough...
