WTF? How many right backs do we have? How many forwards do we have? Seems pretty straight forward to me, there are other areas that need strengthening other than 'target man'. I reckon we need another striker, yes, but not 'AC9'. We need someone with pace, someone to change the game and to stretch defences. A Bellamy type IMO.

It's pretty simple mate, the 'English' refers to the location in which it is played, England. Not to the nationality of the players. The fans are English, the stadiums are English, the history is English. Fucking simple stuff. Relevance? The haughtiness is way overplayed here. I'm really not saying anything that hasn't been lamented by many PL/BPL/EPL fans concerning the lack of Englishmen in the league. From my experience of most Americans, there seems to be a lack of comprehension of history and the relevance of the past to the present. It's completely clear why the league would be referred to as English, and you're either completely stupid or are deliberately mis-representing your argument. Everyone would love there to be more English players at the highest leagues, but claiming the 'Premier League' isn't english due to the number of foreign imports is ridiculous, and coming from an American, pretty funny. No need to disregard what I say based on my nationality, as my experience with most Brits sees them so want to do (see how stupid that sounds when you generalise?) It does sound stupid, but I'm not sure it's how you meant it. Yes, I am sorry for generalising, but it doesn't mean what you were saying was right. Ultimately football is about entertainment, and I'd much rather Yohan Cabaye and Hatem Ben Arfa than Stuart Downing and Andy Carroll. It doesn't mean, however, we can't wish that the English players were better I'd love it if Steven Taylor was the new Thiago Silva, I really would. But he's not.

And where would we put him in the team? Left back and you either drop Santon, or don't bring in a new right back. Otherwise he'd have to accept being understudy to Tiote. Can't exactly seeing us spending 8 million, or him wanting to sit on the bench; So if you want Anita, you presumably feel we should give up on Debuchy, or Tiote is about to be flogged? Not necessarily, if we are playing 4-3-3 next season and we did sign him. He would probably go alongside Tiote and Cabaye in midfield. This is where I'd see him personally. Not completely comfortable buying someone to fill in at LB if he's played predominantly CM/DM for the last year or so. Jonas is class, and there's nothing to say they wouldn't be interchangable depending on the opposition.

There was a vague rumour last summer of Enrique joining Barca. Someone on here said 'Id be honoured to see him join Barca tbh" or something along those lines. Coming from the guy who constantly posts reviews of players he's never seen play. wtf, care to prove that one Every player we're linked with you manage to come out with some "He's more so and so player than so and so other player IMO" then someone asks if you've seen him play and you say you're just "going off what I heard on twitter". It just makes me laugh that you're calling someone out on using unreliable information when you commonly use what plebs say on Twitter as some kind of scout network.
