For those who subscribe is it any good? I'm considering subscribing with other ways of listening to games becoming fewer each week. How much extra content does it have?

Because he ruined this club. He took us from potential CL contenders to a mid-table mediocrity. He sold all our best talent and a lot of our good young players and replaced them with idiots like Boumsong, Faye and Luque.

I love watching games at the ground. However at home I could never be stuck behind the goal, just because the view is crap and there is no atmosphere ot make up for it. For away games though the atmosphere makes up for the bad view.

Definetly a fantasy. There is no chance of there only ever being 3 year contracts as the players association would immediatly block it.

On his way to the Mackems, the 18 goals came in the SPL which is a far inferior league, Arsene obviously sees nothing in him and the only teams interested were Charlton, Mackems and Celtic, all of which are massively inferior clubs.

Sure we probobly could have bought a cheaper striker but I don't think we could have bought a cheaper striker that is proven in the CL, is only 22 and still has his best days in front of him. Oba is not the complete player right now but in a few years he will be. He may not fire us into Europe on his own now but when wehave built up the rest of the squad in a few years I'm sure we will be very thankful we have signed him. As for Duff I have no doubts he will come good. Sure he has lacked form and been unlucky recently with injuries but when he does get back i'm sure he will give us a massive boost. i know martins is a fantastic talent but we needed defenders,we couldve spent those 10 million on buying one or two decent defenders,buying defender was our priorty and as much as i like Martins,i would've always had one or two defenders over him.. Duff was a good player,but lets face it he's been shite since day one here,but i am hoping he comes good but overall,15 million on a striker and a winger,that left us suffering because of our poor defenders,and now all the good solid defenders have moved,our only hope is that we can somehow snatch a good defender before the end of the january transfer window,and that looks unlikly tbh.. To me we didn't need defenders that urgently. We had Moore, Bramble, Ramage, Carr and Babayaro to see us through until January, unfortunatly all 5 have become casulties of our unbelievable injury crisis. Had those 5 not getting injured I think we would have been fine.

If we could get Reo Coker and £4 million for Parker then it could possibly be one of our best transfers ever. Reo-Coker is massively overrated. He is one of those people who has just not performed at west han this season.

You can't compare Roeder's job to Souness's. Roeder is in a muich more difficult situation. Firstly Roeder has nowhere near the the quality that Souness had when he started. Roeder first job is to rebuild the squad which he is doing a very good job in doing at the moment, slowly but surely he is bringing in quality and in the long run that quality will show. What he has to do is keep building the team in other areas. Second thing is Roeder has done as well as Souness did despite the fact that his first team has been crippled. We lose Given for almost 2 months and while Harper is good he is not on Given's level, crucially we lost both Martins and Sibierski for the Charlton and Sheffield United games, Dyer iddn't play the first half of the season, Duff and N'Zogbia have both had injury trouble and We have had to resort to playing academy players at the back, I mean if you said to me at the start of the season David Edgar would be playing on New years day against man U I'd have laughed at you. My personal opinion is that Roeder is doing a good job and it wont be too long until we really start to move up the table.

NOTW says Lucas Neill will decide this week whether to join Liverpool or Newcastle.

Not when the youngsters seem to be completley useless and are having bad games like this. Luque is at least a proven footballer. And when has Luque ever been anything but completely useless.

We weren't unlucky. They wanted it more. We got complacent. Martins too cocky by trying to be too clever, and Roeder keeping on Pattison and putting on O'brien. Must say he got the tactics right by playing 2 speedy guys up front but when things were looking stale and players losing focus, he shoulda made a change but he didn't. If this was a league game I'd be fuming blueupset.gif Sbierski had an injury. We had 2 wingers Luque and O'Brien, a striker in Carroll and a 15-year old on the bench. Can't blame Roeder's subs.

We should have Parker for the replay as well.
