I am actually intrigued by this. Was Shola any good because I just can't imagine him being good at any level. he was mint. couldn't get the ball off him. I'll always remember no matter how hard the ball was played at him, he used to chest it down and the ball would drop like a stone at his feet, he'd then take a few on and smash it in. I played against him from 11-15, then played with him for a few months, he was mint.

played against Carrick a few times, and played with and against shola a few times too.

I disagree. We'll never know like. If he was remotely close to it then that second half wouldn't matter a jot. Again, I disagree.
