but where do you stop? There’s not a chance a member who’s attended one home game (for example) should be getting a ticket ahead of an ST holder. Unless you start to categorise members based on attendance (how many ‘pots’ are we going to have?) then you can’t put members in the same bracket as ST holders, IMO.

There’s a big article in the telegraph about them today. someone called Kath had been at the club since the 60’s and was loved by all. So much so that Beckham and Ferguson went to visit her often. She died about a month ago. Someone at the club rang her next of kin 48 hours after she died to ask what was happening with her complimentary season tickets. Sellotape is sent back if it’s bought without sign off, bulk orders of vegetables for the canteen the same (yet they binned at least £9m on ashworth for 5 months work). It’s genuine madness what’s going on at that club.

The problem Man Utd have (and Ashworth had) is that they need to overhaul their squad to play a 3-4-3. If Amorim does not work out, they've then got a squad wedded to that formation so his replacement needs to play that way too. If this works for them (and tbh i think it will), they're golden, if it doesn't, they'll be even more fucked than they are now imo.
