Of all the things to complain about, this seems like a really strange one.

We’ve played the most games of any team in Europe.

I was told, directly from Hopkinson, that we had a record breaking sleeve sponsor and a record breaking training ground sponsor. I’ve no idea if that means record breaking for us or in general, I’d presume us on the sleeve, but we’ve never had a training ground sponsor so £1 would be a record. So 🤷🏼‍♂️. My take is Hopkinson is no mug, and he’s made some very bold claims about where he wants us to be, so you’d expect to see some pretty big movement in terms of revenue or we don’t stand a chance of achieving what he has set out. But as ever, talk is cheap and we’ll believe it when we see it.
