  1. He’s in a bad way Trippier. Still wants/needs to be away.
  2. Unless the original plan was to play Gordon on the right, the Barnes signing is a bizarre one. It makes little to no sense tbh. I can imagine everyone is frustrated by it.
  3. As would DCL to be fair. He’s only 27 isn’t he?

    St James' Park

It’s an excellent read imo. I also agree with him, a new stadium is the best option.
  5. We'll 100% be in for DCL in January. No question about it.
  6. Their fans have been ridiculously patient with ETH. I live in Manchester, so not their biggest fan but of the many sticks to beat their fanbase with, manager impatience definitely isn't one.
  7. Won’t be popular with our away ends either but there’s questions over Tonali as well. He’s either been banned for betting or bang average in his time here so far. Save for the opening day last season and the forest cup game this. There’s £95m or so between him and Barnes.
  8. agreed. Howe has been brilliant overall but big money has been spent. Barnes is a baffling signing for one.
  9. Mbuemo has been Howe’s top target for that position since he came (it was Brennan Johnson but the club didn’t agree). My guess is he’ll be out of reach financially now.
  10. I’ll never give him stick, I think he’s been brilliant for us. I just think the end is nigh and that’s due to a combination of internal politics and the flaws we’re seeing in results/performances. Would love everything to be golden and Howe to stay for the next ten years, but I can’t see it unfortunately.
  11. Some questions also need to be asked about why we spent £40m plus on a left winger twice in 6 months and are still reliant on Jacob Murphy for the other side. When Mitchell said ‘not fit for purpose’ this is the sort of shit he was on about I’d imagine. Who’s decision was that exactly?
  12. This is where I’m at, I’m not saying I want him gone but I’m starting to think that the writing is on the wall. I also think if there is any friction with him and Mitchell and they aren’t totally aligned on the plan going forward then the sooner we move on the better. The next window is really big for many reasons. I love Howe btw , but can’t see how he stays long term.
  13. There was a time when we were so inventive with them. Where the fuck did that go?
  14. Our set pieces are fucking awful as well at the min. Surely he'll be put on them soon?
  15. Any idea what the poster was called? I’d be keen to read that
  16. There's trouble ahead IMO. I love Howe, but I remain convinced this is the beginning of the end. We'll have a Mitchell managerial pick before the season is out I think. My guess is a german.

    Paul Mitchell

yeah, because they could not afford his buy out clause.
  18. they’re just regurgitating an article from ‘give me sport’ where they say Man Utd ‘could consider Howe’. load of bollocks, basically
  19. I was so desperate for Viana to be great. He came with the right pedigree and I remember being excited by the signing. Sadly he was shite, just too slow.

    England

Think that could give us an Eddie Howe shaped problem.
  21. Do not, under any circumstances, move Isak. Not for anybody. That's my take.
