Not a chance i'd sell Joelinton.

Could be 2+2=5 but Man Utd have announced their current Ashworth equivalent is leaving, could be that we're getting close to seeing the end of this saga.
-
It'll happen imo.

Papers tomorrow reckon Everton could be facing a third deduction

Anderson was done, he’s barley played and he was blowing out of his arse.
-
Mixed bag tonight imo. All well and good at the weekend when the only instruction is to go forward. Think we saw tonight why he’s been held back. He’ll be a player though, no doubt, but it isn’t as crazy as if maybe looked on Saturday that he hasn’t played as much.

Agreed, although i'd throw big Joe in that rotation too. I love him on the left.
-
This. I thought he was in trouble when they scored the third (as i then expected them to get a fourth), absolutely delighted we turned it around. Hopefully onwards and upwards from here.
-
He was fantastic with both feet. Doesn't get in this England team though.

and I liked Huddlestone by the way, lovely striker of a ball, but howay man ?
-
Absolutely. They don't get much wrong to be fair to them.

Interesting read on Edwards and Hughes and their respective approaches. Also interesting to read why Hughes was brought in to Bournemouth and how that affected Howe. https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/68654523

So just to be clear, they can be mates and the separation isn't an issue if one of them has won something? ? Edward's is Eddie's friend, and he's (supposedly) the best, so the two can co-exist. Just get the best person for the job, we both definitely agree there. ??
-
Edwards is also Howe’s mate though, so you wouldn’t have the separation? I take the separation point, but Villa (early days) and Man City are proving that it isn’t as important as you suggest. There’d have been major complaints on here had we appointed Hughes, ‘Bournemouth United’ and all that, he’s not ‘best in class’ etc etc. Bottom line is we don’t know what best in class in this role is. I think we’ll get it right and I also think Howe will get sacked if he doesn’t perform, and it makes no difference if the sporting director is his mate or not. let’s just get the best person for the job, if he happens to be Howe’s mate, so be it. That’s my take anyway.

Would you have been happy if we’d appointed Michael Edwards?
-
They're taking Bournemouth's chief scout as well. the meltdown on here had we done similar ?
-
Hughes confirmed at Liverpool. No idea why Michael Edwards wants a chancer like him. Why didn’t they go for best in class?

Sven Botman: Out for up to 8 weeks after minor Knee operation (Howe)

Already been sacked and replaced haven’t they? -
No chance.
-
Would they have got a majority vote if it made things worse?
-
Few rumours knocking about that he’s agreed a new contract and it’ll be announced this week.
-
Luke Shaw certainly does.

Don’t discount Calvert-Lewin.
